I'm no pro in this area and I know a lot of people will say not to text again but this happened to me a few months ago.

Kiss closed her at the bar and text her the night after. No reply.
I left it about 5 or 6 days then sent her a completely random text and she replied saying sorry for not replying earlier she was at work then forgot. Whatever you do don't mention the fact she didn't reply. Just start a new thread.

I went on 3 dates with her and ended up f-closing her. Just be a little persistent but not needy. I'd say wait a few days and try once more. If nothing then move on and delete her.

So I got this girl's name & number the other night at this bar. I texted her the next evening saying who it was and that it was nice meeting her, I didn't get any kind of response back. Now I know to play it cool, I'm just wondering what my next move should be...It's been a few days and Im thinking of texting her again and seeing if she has any plans to go out or whatnot. Also wondering if I should maybe try the Facebook route...Any thoughts?? Thanks!

This is my method aswell. I no longer play the waiting game like I use to. But generally I give a girl 2-3 chances to give me a response. 3 if I'm feeling generous. People are busy I can't tell you how many times I've open a text and something happened and I just didn't get around to replying then forgot about it. Not the answer you want to hear but the reality is you should always come up with your own stuff that way its congruent with your personality, rather than cut-n-pasting what someone else has said. Also, you have a better context to the situation so there may be things you two had experienced together that could be the basis to your text. Keep things light and airy, myself I rely quite a bit on humor, sometimes cocky/funny, sometimes not. Peruse the board for one-liners for ideas, but make sure you put your own spin on it so it actually seems like something you'd say.

Lots of girls are waiting for your text message so you can bang them. It does not matter if this one does not reply. If she remembers you and feels horny about you, she'll text you within 14 days. If not, move on and find 10 replacement girls.

I agree with what one of the posters above said, being persistent, not needy - don't confuse the two. Persistence comes from a confidence frame, whereas needy infers you've got no other option. Whenever you're in doubt as to which place you're coming from, you're the guy who has other women on the lamb, real or not (if this isn't the case, you should make this a goal). Not texting a girl again looks like you're pouting ("You wont talk to me, so I wont talk to you!") or have no interest (which you know damn well isn't the case) and is counter to what you're trying to do. The worst thing that can happen is she doesn't respond, big whoop - plenty more fish in the sea. Seriously, never leave any stone unturned...the AFC is the one who loses all confidence because he expects a girl to react a certain way, and when she doesn't (lets face it human behavior is extremely complex and dynamic) he gets bent out of shape and protects his ego rather than keeping up the pressure.
