Post subject:  "I have to get approval from you?" text help needed!
Hey ya'll, girl who I am doing really well with and seeing this weekend asked me what the appropriate attire was for a bar we're going to. I told her "casual but it'll be chilly outside" so she said "great jeans will be perfect!" and I asked her, jokingly,

"Do you look great in jeans?" (to qualify her)

She responded with, "I look amazing in jeans! Haha!"

And I said, "Great! Then jeans are perfect! :D"

She responded with, "I have to get approval from you to wear jeans?"

I'm pretty sure this is a sh*t test, and she's not saying that in an upset manner, but I want to respond to this correctly. Any help is appreciated. Thanks guys.

mzilla: and make sure they don't have more than 2 holes in them. unless they're on your ass. that'd be ok. and they better not be black. i hate black jeans.

i would just make it ridiculous and a joke. and keep building until she realizes she isn't going to get an answer to her question.

It's all about frame control.

Yep. Don't even respond. Everything that was needed to be said has been said, and I'd you don't respond now you have the power and also she might feel a little foolish for sending that text, as you don't respond.
