Post subject:  How long after the 1st date to call...2nd date ideas
How long after the first date should I wait to call/text her? Our first date was last Friday.

We went for Happy Hour drinks in nyc. I'd like to do something a little different than just dinner or drinks for our 2nd date. Would like some good ideas.

Most of women like Zoo. Unless she is an animal activist, vegeterian, hippie or something like that, she will love that :)
Ask her!

Or, tell her that you got the tickets for some concert or play (in the mean time find out what could she like - its easy if you are friends on facebook) and ask her if she would like to join you.

I normally call her the next day. Why wait? If you call her the 2nd day, it shows you are interested. IF she refuses a day 2, then the date might not went well, or she's just not interested.

The date went really well. Lot of good eye contact and body language. We sat at a bar so were very close to each other. She did most of the talking and there were never any awkward silences. Got some kino in there. At the end of the date she said call me I had a great time. Was gonna text her tomorrow to say had a great time and we should get together again soon

You can also use this. Let's say you talked about labrador dogs and how much u both like them. (just an example) then u text her the next morning:
"Hey, i saw just cute labrador puppy today and it reminded me of you"

That way u show that u think about her (interest) and u bring up a positive topic in which u can move on in the following texts 8)

Bring up something positive that u talked about, and fill that topic into the line i gave u.

She's invited you to call - call her.

Make a date. It's an expected move now. Be the man, don't ask permission - don't be an aggressive dick, but find out when you're both available and set the date. BE the man.

Fair - but we haven't sexted yet...

Ok I will call - I dont mind calling, but usually i think they prefer texting so I text for them. I'd def rather call bc the answer is instant theres no waiting and wondeirng.

What I'm saying is IF I text, I direct it to sexting, or I cut the texting off. Text game works well - if you're smart about it.

BUT...

Dude... You got the green light to call her, which holds more importance than a text in my world. Why would you settle for texting when your next logical step is calling?

Set the date, escalate and enjoy your evening my friend. ;)

Going back to date ideas here I'd like to add that it's always good to escalate things. So for example you had this great bar date where you talked and enjoyed each others company, so now that there's familiarity do something interactive such as mini golf where you can get playfully physical. :D

Nice. Had to use it b/c it did indeeed go to VM. I am convinced girls like texting more than vm bc they can take their time to respond. I called at 9pm est which may have been too late for her - i dunno why though. I hate this shit. WHy would she tell me to call her if she wasnt gonna asnwer?
