So I went on a date with this HB9 a while ago. We fooled around a bit, I fingered her in the park and we did a bit of dry hump and heavy makeout then I decided to freeze her out because I was a bit upset that she wouldn't look at me directly while we were having conversation on the date. She didn't respond when I texted 2 days after and again couple days after that. I deleted her number but she was still my friend on FB. Recently I commented on her status and she started responding back. Tease and poke fun as her as if nothing happened, I kept everything aloof. I did spontaneously invite her to do stuffs 2 weeks ago, she said she was busy. I sent her a message on FB today. Quote: Me: Hey I want to see Dark Knight but I'm afraid I might get shot. So you're coming with me, I can just push you in front if anything happens
......... SENT...... AND no reply.HB9: Haha wish I could, but I'm broke! And I might possibly have plans Me: Bummer! Still let's grab a coffee sometimes. There are a few things I want to ask you. HB9: Ask me? Me: Tch you're no fun. I guess I'll spell it out for you. I'd like a second chance with you and take you out on a proper date. We got on the wrong feet last time and I was upset bc you wouldn't even look at me while we were talking. We had a great chemistry and I don't want to waste it because of some misunderstanding. Then I realized how AFC that last message sounds. I think I've having oneitus for this girl, I do want to win her back since she has good potential to be a gf. Any suggestion on how to go from here or anything wrong about what I have been doing? |

Deny, blame her. Make it sound like it's HER mistake and that she should be the one asking you out and that you're the nice one for giving her a chance to rectify her last mistake. Should have been: Freeze out Tease her on FB how she can't even hold eye contact on a first date When she responses tell her you'll give her one more chance and to meet you at X on X day. If she does not comply, move on. |

I should have worded that last message different. It would be so much better as "Tch you're no fun. I'm giving you a second chance since you might not be able to hold eye contacts last time bc you were nervous But I suppose I can always reframe to that if she does reply. |

She said she's broke AND might possibly have plans. It's like, "Well one excuse just won't do, I'll throw two at him for funsies." What up with that? Regardless of her being fickle, I hope all works out. |

Haha yea I saw that one coming too. Especially at the "might" "possibly" have plan. I was lost to my oneitus frustration for a moment there. But I usually have no problem fixing my oneitus. If she doesn't reply, I'll just move on since I just got 3 new fresh numbers today Regardless of her being fickle, I hope all works out. |

Um...... do you understand what a freeze out is designed to do?Should have been: Freeze out Tease her on FB how she can't even hold eye contact on a first date When she responses tell her you'll give her one more chance and to meet you at X on X day. If she does not comply, move on. She's already NOT complied - to anything. Freezing out someone who is ignoring you - isn't freezing her out - it's common sense. Best, RR |

You fingered a chick, didn't escalate properly enough to either close or have her want another date. She's broke? Seriously, why would that be a factor? I pay for a date - if it's a date. That'd never even be an issue. Move on - she did the night you fingered her. Best, RR |

She just replied "I suppose, it depends on what you want to do. I honestly just wasn't feeling a lot of chemistry." Wonder if I should go caveman on this or be nice. |

Yeah, that's the point... I'm not trying to beat you up... just making fact - her failure to contact you is confirmation. Sucks - truly.... But - there's always another woman.... Best, RR |

Wow... Wonder if I should go caveman on this or be nice. Do whatever you're feeling.... Myself, I'd not spend any energy on this chick. She likes to pronounce the fact she's not interested. Seriously, I'd ignore her. Drop any contact. What's the point? If you run into her later on down the road, re-frame and see if she's thawed. But I'd make no effort to interract whatsoever... WAY too many other women for that shit. Best, RR |
