Hello, I was wondering if anyone went to salsa lessons and then picked up girls during the lessons or through salsa parties. Thanks |

I've taken a bunch of dance lessons and never picked up at them since I actually wanted to learn each one of them. Picked up at all social parties that the ballrooms host except for one. If you take any dance class you will find that most people that come are there with their significant other (at least in my experience). The ratio of women will always be greater, however, and you will practice with random girls who comes by themselves (instant opener) It's much easier because you WILL introduce yourselves to each other either way (if you are generally polite), and from there you can row your boat wherever you want. |

Judging from what I have seen at this salsa party I went to, only a few girls were with their significant other and mostly they were alone. Plus I think that salsa lessons are kind of awkward for a man thats why the ratio is uneven  So you say that the probability of picking up women in such events is high. What if u r a beginner? |

Salsa lessons will help you get better - at salsa. Meaning it will open up a new gameboard for you. My old wingman used to salsa a lot and he used the venue to pick up girls, it seemed to work for him. Women love to dance and more interaction with women will increase you chances to practice real game too. |
