Hello all, I'm very much a n00b to all this and wanted to ask you experienced chaps advice on the following situation: I used to work with a girl remotely, she was in London and I'm based in the Midlands. We emailed and spoke on the phone. I left that company a few months ago to work for myself, so we now have no contact. I really like this girl and would like to get to know her - but I have no real reason to get in touch with her. We follow each other on Twitter and when I left my post, she gave me her personal email address in case I ever needed to get in touch with her. Another thing is that when I worked with her, I was married. Now, I am not - which she wont know. Is it possible to apply techniques that you guys use, to this situation, to build some interest remotely at first which can then lead into dates etc? Sorry for the backstory but I wanted to provide some context. Hope to hear from you soon! H. |

You don't NEED a reason to contact her. Just contact her. Guage interest. If it's there, then interject the divorce and see how the interest is after you've dropped that card. You do it right, and the interest is there - and SHE becomes the reason you contacted her.... RR |

RR What I'd like to know though, is can some of the techniques that you fellas use be put to practice, say in an email etc. I'm pretty certain that when/if we speak on the phone they certainly can be - but I think there needs to be a lead up to that. She gave you her email address.... Here's the thing dude. You like this girl. You can make a move tommorow without having researched the best way to do so or do it in a month when you have decided upon the most pua foolproof method. Either way she already knows how she feels about you. Make a move tommorow maybe you get rejected, who cares move on. Or you can make a move after spending weeks of thinking about and get rejected, that's going to hurt. Just balls up and be a man |
