Post subject:  Want to go to a professional bootcamp but I'm afraid...

to become something I'm not. I see Mystery, Style and many others and I think to myself: will they ever settle down? I want to be able to pick up any woman I desire, but I'm more of a settler, a long-term relationship-er rather than a "hit n' run" sort of guy. I do know some basic pick up concepts but am very afraid to approach, even though I know I'm a good looking guy (I'd say I'm an eight) and that sometimes girls hit on me themselves.

So anyway I've been considering on going to a bootcamp, but I'm scared... What if after experiencing such an intense camp I'll never be able to settle down?

Another thing is that I have a pretty bad self discipline, I tried doing the Stylelife Challenge but I've failed. That's why I need a camp - so others will push me and I wouldn't be on my own. Additionally - I absolutely HATE all the routines and the "my friends and I were having an argument" stuff. I don't want anything to be unnatural, and I don't want to lie to get girls.

So does serious, high level pick up really suit a settler like me, who can't say anything that isn't 100% truth?

Hope you guys help me out with that...

Remove the pussy from a pedestal. Women lie. Everyday.

Her nails? Those aren't her nails.

Hair? That's not her hair color.

Boobs? Those aren't HERS.

Makeup? That's not her face.

Eye lashes? Her shit aint that long...

Get the point? Before you even start - they've lied to you how many times?

On a serious note - ask a chick how many dudes' she's fucked - and tell me about 'honesty'....

Dude, seriously.... you're making excuses. A bootcamp won't do shit for you if you don't have the intrinsic desire to improve yourself on your own volition. At this point, you think all we do is voodoo, smoke and mirrors - so you're fucked as it is. You need to change your mindset before you consider anything PU related.

Okay forget the lying thing, that I could get over. But I just don't want my life to spiral out of control with one night stands, and I don't know whether pick up is something that can be used to pick up woman in order to have a serious relationship, because doing it is pretending to be someone you aren't. The problem with that is that girls don't want "the real" you but rather the version that you presented yourself to be. But of course that might be just bullshit, I don't really understand how it works yet.

I've taught one who had zero end game - now he's married, with a son = and genuinely happy.

Me? I enjoy the start-up, I can't stand the sustaining of a relationship.... So I prefer to have a variety of women to choose from. Seems shallow to some, I don't give a shit - it's my life, and my lifestyle. It works for me.

You'll get out of it what you want.

Pick up is best thought of like Plutonium.... some people see it and want to make a power plant, others want to make a bomb. You do with it what you want to do with it. Nobody is controlling you but YOU.

I understand. So which are the recommended bootcamps in NYC area? I prefer "the natural" method, as I said, the least routines and scripted things - the better. And how much does such a bootcamp even cost?

...there is no fucking natural method. If it's natural, you're not using a method.

Why would you pay someone hundreds of dollars for advice that is available here? A bootcamp won't turn things around immediately, neither will a book, or a youtube video. Experience is ten times more valuable. Read a few things, sure, but then go out and try it. If it works, great, if it doesn't, oh well. Trial and error is a huge part of this. So go try...and error.

You missed the point - entirely.

I never took a bootcamp. I never needed one. I read, learned and PRACTICED on my own - all the time. I didn't have this forum either. I had 2 PUAs to help me, guide me and mold me. I pay that forward now. I never charged for a seminar, I've never charged for 'instruction or advice'...

But Holy Shit - maybe I should! LOL..... Damn if there are this many men who can't find it in themselves to learn game... I might need to. Skills360 is close by, dude's game is on lock... maybe he and I should hold a seminar together... No worries Notepad, you'll be invited.

Hi Notepad,

I understand where you are coming from. I can't see myself as being the person who shags a different girl every other day. I fear it would turn into an addiction which wouldn't be too healthy.

When it comes to marriage I am the "take-it-or-leave-it" type.

But I really need to build my self-confidence and esteem before approach. I have thought about attending a boot camp but I need to get some things straight in my head first.

I have to say, I am more of a day game person. I don't go out in the evening that often and approaching girls in night clubs and bars makes me feel a bit uncomfortable.

Notepad, all a (good) bootcamp will do is make you a better version of yourself. What you do with the skills you learn is entirely up to you -it won't turn you into ONS machine. If you're genuinely looking for a relationship with a fabulous woman then remember a lot of other guys are competing with you, so why not learn some skills to give you a headstart on the opposition? If you don't approach her some other guy will and boldness will take the prize! So work on your AA at the bootcamp and leave it as a formidable adversary to those who stand between you and the woman of your dreams.
