Im a dutch guy myself. Where will you be studying ?

Its quite funny, 1 month ago i met this american girl ,we ended up being together. but now she has left again back to america!

To bad i dont live close to Maastricht! (live in delft)

About the dutch girls : Yeah, i think they are very hard, even as dutch guy myself i have a hard time picking up the dutch girls( hence, why i took an american, which btw was the hottest girl i've ever had, she was from austin).

Most dutch girls are not really confident with speaking in english, and i think that is the main problem for you as american. they will al understand you, but they will just not be comfortable speaking english.

I think as long as you have proper game and let them feel comfortable in speaking english with you, you will be fine!

What university in US are you from? I am actually looking to do a thesis in the USA ( just checked texas now, obviously )

Atleast you are staying in a cool city, lots of foreigners (French and German in particular). IMO being American can function as a DHV if you play it right. Most girls in the age range 20-28 speak English on a decent level, so language shouldn't be a problem at all.

Dutch girls are somewhat reserved when it comes to SNL's though, especially girls under 22. Go for the girls that study at Maastricht University. They will most likely live in student housing and have no problem with SNL's. These girls will also speak English on at least an elementary proficiency.

I've been studying in Amsterdam since August 2011, and with some decent game you sure will get some women. Dutch women, from my experience, are very easy to open, but difficult to close. hey guys... just got out of a 6 month relationship with a girl, and i'm gonna be studying abroad in the netherlands in the fall. my friends who went on the same program said it's hard as shit to pick up girls there since they all hate americans, but i'm extremely outgoing and will hit on every good looking girl i see. i was wondering if anyone had any advice on pickup in europe as an american.. i'm 20 btw. thanks in advance guys

jmatla is right! Dutch girls don't feel comfortable when it comes to speaking English. And since the average girl here sucks at speaking English, I think it would be quite hard for you. Maybe if you throw in a couple of Dutch words it would be a bit easier. (I personally think this is quite funny haha).. And don't worry. If you've got the right looks, it's also easier to get a Dutch girl. I assume you're not ugly as fuck so I think you would do a pretty decent job.

YEah, girls will love you being an Alpha, but thats in general Dont talk about study and stuff, the girls hate to talk about that here. Coming with a wingwoman is very good, thats what i do most of the times. You have a totally different discipline than me : I'm in natural sciences

jmalta- ah nice dude, yea im definitely not a sciences guy, wish i could help you.. but you can't go wrong with a school in a city such as NYC or Boston... tremendous opportunities and there really are a plethora of them. These girls will also speak English on at least an elementary proficiency. yeah im thinking of going mostly for girls at the university. my school only has 2200-2300 kids and word gets out fast (i had a reputation extremely fast which was both good and bad) so im excited to see how it pans out here. definitely hope to start by getting a shit ton of number closes and keeping as many options open as possible. thanks! did you ever study at maastricht?

GameIsOn x thanks for your input bro... any tips on how to build a sexual/emotional connection with them fast? any difference than americans? since i had a gf for the past 6 months, hitting on girls seems almost foreign to me now in some settings. At a party this past weekend i hit on a lota girls (no closes cuz i had to leave the party) and felt great, but today, all i could think about was my ex when i was gaming, and it fucked me hard. i just walked away.... but i digress... any ways to build trust fast or techniques you've noticed have worked in your past year there?

Maastricht, at least students, is very international, so you will have a lot of fun there. I don't think that you would have any kind of problem because you are American.
