quick random question..

we all (should) know that orgasms release oxytocin which works as a bonding factor.

does phone sex work as well in this respect? i.e. if you have phone sex with a girl, will her orgasm cause bonding to the PUA on the other side of the line - or to her fingers/vibrator? :lol:

Imo it would...as long as she is thinking of you. I know cuddling, touching, bonding is part of the whole connection with women but I would think as long as she is thinking of you it would still work to some extent. But in person sex is the best bonding tool in the world! there is nothing that makes a girl drool over you more!

when I was much younger (like 10 years ago), for some time I had a sexting-relationship with an older woman. she had definitely developed some level of bonding just through the sexting, but she had this interesting situation where her husband was out of town 5 days a week, and they had no kids. so, basically, I filled her evenings with companionship and pleasure (even though just over texting).. we lived in different faraway cities, and meeting was not an option for so many reasons, so we were both happy with what we had while it lasted.

that would seem to confirm your opinion... good thing my date is very open to phone sex :lol:

Two additional things that you need to know with orgasms and oxytocin, here:
  • 1. The dopamine rush comes first before the oxytocin release. The woman is more than likely stressed out with the relationship with her husband. Stress drives up her norephinephrine, and hence, sex drive which leads her to seek the thrill of phone sex with you. Thrill equates to dopamine. The only way to counter that high dopamine rush is to secrete lots of oxytocin. Oxytocin essentially subdues the effects of dopamine and norephinephrine (the stress hormones). If the woman did not get enough oxytocin from her orgasm/s, then she will feel depressed after the act (the dopamine low) and feel like a slut. If she had more than 3 orgasms with you through phone sex, she would have felt relief.

    2. As for the affinity with the vibrator or her fingers, as someone pointed out earlier, touch through hugging, rubbing, and so on also contribute to oxytocin release. Sex between two human beings release more oxytocin due to the touch involved than long distance inspired masturbation with the help of her fingers or vibrators.
So, do women fall in love or develop emotional connections with their vibrators? No. Why? The dopamine rush and touch factors are missing from the equation.

So how strong is the emotional connection that you can build through sexting or phone sex? Strong, but not strong enough without the touch component that flesh-to-flesh sex provides. :twisted:
