Ok Guys

So women love fantasy, right?

I figured I should learn card tricks, palm reading stuff, etc.

Any books/websites I could
use? How about your experiences with this stuff?

hey mate!

how about just being yourself? You dont need that stuff to be interesting. You would be better off learning good conversational skills and compassion skills. Emotional intelligence, far more important and way more efficient.

Start being yourself though before you try to get inside somebody else.

Doing magic tricks ect is how I first got confidence and as a result I always have a pack of cards in my back pocket just as a fall back incase I start to loose my nerve. my advice is similar to the post above, be yourself and don't rely on magic tricks however, if you want to know some to boost your confidence then by all means go for it there's just a couple of things you need to remember though to get a good effect from them.

1: most impressive magic tricks are simple to perform

2: its how you deliver the trick that matters

3: always be prepared for someone to mess up your trick

4: after doing one trick, if they pester you for another one (if they are impressed they normally do) always throw in a neg or a comment like "I ain't a performing monkey buy me a drink and then I might" although be careful with that comment sometimes they will walk off, I'm still working on it.

And just to answer your original question I have one trick that creates kino and more often than not gets a phone number, it is also very similar to a magic trick dynamo does.

Its essentially the trick he does at 2:20 and I will assume you know some magician lingo here

To set the trick up you need a svengali deck and a marker pen, before you go out the card that is alternating throughout the deck, eg in my deck every second card is nine of hearts, you want one of that card and place it on top of the deck for it to then alternate down

so for instance in my deck first card is the 9 of hearts with my signature on then it would be king of clubs (doesn't matter what card it is) then another 9 of hearts then another random card then a 9 of hearts ect ect

dynamo does the trick set up differently but, way he does it you have to reset the trick each time, way I set the trick up, it automatically resets itself

I normally start off along the lines of hi I am practiceing doing magic around crowds would it be ok if I tried a magic trick on you and your friends, normally they say yes but on the off chance they say no just go on to next set.

so first thing you do is a double lift revealing the second card in the deck and pulling out a marker pen then with a big smile just say to one of the ladies, just put your name and phone number on that or even your bank account number and pin along with address security number ect, this normally gets a good laugh out of them and stops them thinking "this guy is just after my number" if they are interested themselves they will put their number down.

then of course you flip the two cards back over so the card you signed before going out is on the top which you then fold up and put in their mouth justl ike dynamo does (tell them to bite on it just like he does, I never once had someone say no to me)

at this stage I like to just say to the whole group "does any of you believe in palm reading by the way?" this way I am not alienating her friends and again it helps them all to feel a bit more relaxed around me. If one of them says yes just ask for her hand and while gently holding it point to various lines saying, "This line shows how long your going to live, this line shows how happy you will be and this line shows how gullable you are at palm reading" again if you have a smile on your face they normally laugh at the joke.

To continue with the trick you do another double lift revealing the duplicate card of the one you signed (eg in my deck it is the 9 of hearts) which you then sign and flip back over so the top card is then the one that the lady signed, which then you fold up and bite down on (always put your marker pen and deck of cards in your pocket at this stage, once or twice I have had them asking to see the deck but this rarely happens and I have never once had them ask after putting it away)

then gently place your hand on her arms and lean in like dynamo does, but I recommend leaning in so your noses almost touch as it is essentially the seduction stage if you read MM and makes them feel more comfortable being so close to you later on if you do natural game.

Then pull back pretending to chew on the card you placed in your mouth for a moment before pulling it out to reveal it as her card then just simply point to her mouth and at this stage you can either stick around or walk off as she pulls the card out to reveal it as your card with your signature on. (I tend to stick around and start a conversation if she has written her phone number if she has not then normally i walk away before she has looked at the cardi n her mouth back to my mates or off to next set)

best night I ever had doing this trick was getting 17 phone number out of 21 times. so if done right you just about always walk away with a phone number but I don't call it number closing like this because there have been times when I litterally did this with a set then walked off with a number after about a minuiet and half so don't assume getting a number means you have done well
