I've definitely had some success in the past inviting girls over and cooking for them, and then kino escalating on my couch while we watch a movie. What do u guys think about this? Do u think it could scare a girl away if u ask them over like this on a first date? does it seem cheap? too desperate? thoughts.....

I'm pretty sure you already know the answer to this.

Women love this, any fool can pay for dinner. But how many men can actually cook dinner. It's a great first date. You have them in your element ( your place) you don't have to worry about the invite over after you go out.

I could go on and on why this is a good idea, but i will leave it at that.

I agree, women love this.

I disagree about a first date idea. If there is enough rapport at that point, sure. But if you don't, it's your element as you've said. She might not be too comfortable.

Overall though, cooking dinner is showing care and value. Only positive in my eyes.

My first date with my current GF was at my place with me cooking for her.
It kinda helped that (a) we had emailed/texted for a few days before with increasing level of mutual attraction (b) my foreign origins allow me to put the "true way" label on food I cook from my home country

needless to say, she loved it :wink:

but as said, it all depends.. some girls might not be comfortable with a first date at your place, and you might give creep (or worse) vibes.. before walking through the door J asked me if I was a serial killer (only half jokingly I guess).. the reply that worked for me was "yes of course"

I'm not sure what type of women you are used to dealing with Captain, but as a pick up artist, it's wise to have all angles covered, it's one thing to be dominant in bed, it's another to do it during the beginning and middle stages of seduction.

Some women will love it, some will hate it. (in bed all women love it) I am guessing you are still rather young and dealing with a lot of younger girls.

I agree 100%. That mind set Captain has might work with Sluts, 6s or one night stands but if you want quality girls and many of them that shit wont fly. If she say's she's not comfortable enough, then suggest something else. If you're trying to find a girlfriend, then whatever, take all the steps you wish. I'm all about taking their panties off. It's not about the cooking, it's about the idea behind it. Dude when I was younger and couldn't cook at all, I'd often order some dishes from a Italian place from accross the street, throw it in a pot, and let it simmer just before the target came to my house. Was always sure to hide the take out containers.
