So I have always played the nice guy card.

For the first time (just turned 18) I went to a bar and played pong with some college kids. There was this HB 9 sitting down at the table we were playing on. Me and my buddy were filling up the cups for the game and this HB 9 asks me to fill up her cup up. Here's the convo:

HB9: Hey, fill my cup up.
Me: I'll think about it ;)
HB9 OMG you'll fucking have enough left just fill it up.
Me: How about you chill the fuck out I was messin' with ya.
HB9: Hi, I'm ****** :D

And we talked for about 5 minutes until the game finally started. When we finished I looked and she wasn't there...

Missed my window of opportunity there but next time I will definitely go for the number! I am new to this stuff so bear with me! So from this, and past experiences, I have come to the conclusion that girls like assholes, as I had NOT believed before.

There's a difference between being cocky and being an asshole. Just be cocky and confident, you don't have to be a straight up dick. (Which you weren't being, I'm just saying.)

Yeah I guess you're right, it was cocky. I didn't say it in a really mean way, I said it in a normal tone!

santa you are on the right track, dont worry about these haters, as a reformed nice guy dont worry about being too much of an asshole, you can reign it in as you start to calibrate better. In this case I dont see any problem in what you told that chick in regards to what she said to you, it seemed context appropriate.
