Ok, so I've been dating this girl for a while -- maybe a month and a half. It's even more [un]convenient that this situation is occurring with a girl I actually like. I need a "what to do" from you guys. It may sound stupid, but just throw me some help. We've been going back and forth over text/email/phone/etc. and I've seen her a few times, obviously. So she doesn't call or text for a few days, and I go out with a HB8, who tags us on facebook. Of course she calls that night given the fact she's seen me go out with someone else. I take a strong anti-inflammatory for my shoulder after a bike accident, but guess what? The hospital mixes that shit up and gives me something that effectively makes me hammered. So I answer the phone likely sounding tanked -- I talked to my sister after that and she said I didn't sound too terrible, but whatever. Didn't think she liked that - because I don't drink very much at all and she knows I've never done a single drug in my life (that's right, I'm a saint). Anyway, I make a joke on facebook about how the hospital screwed up, so it's likely she saw it (and would have explained why I might have sounded screwed up). I didn't say anything stupid or weird, because I can remember most of it. So I text her the following morning: "let's hang out this week." Nothing for like 3 days. Just ignores me. Nobody ignores me. This is all after she's introduced me roommates/coworkers/good friends/etc. The whole thing is kind of conflicting, because people generally don't bring you around those groups of people if they're not certain about someone. Kind of odd... I realize that's a not-so-good sign, and I'm not one to be needy... but I'm thinking this thing took a turn down shit's creek. I could go back up to D.C. for the remainder of the summer (I'm currently in the south) if this thing doesn't pan out, but I'd rather stay here if this thing works out. Good option to have -- just for a change of scenery. Plus, my sister lives up there and has loads of hot friends. Essentially, it's an all-in or all-out situation at this point. Leave and say nothing? What would y'all do? Thanks! I do appreciate any advice anyone can give -- I'll definitely keep the updates coming. |

Facebook = HUGE obstacle for a PUA. Especially if you know one of those women that live one hour of their life, then write about it on facebook for three. 'Tagging' in photos provides confirmation. I tell anyone interested in game to get the fuck off of it. I made a profile on there when I had a GF about 18 months ago... when I knew things were going south, I told her I was spending too much time on Farmville and not enough with my work (I ramped up playing the fucking game a week just to drop that exit) so i was just turning off my profile for a while.... 3 weeks later, when we split - I'm called by 4 buddies saying "Dude, she's fucking NUKING you!". Lesson learned. I want no part of my name/face associated with that shit - especially if I'm gaming 2-3 women who may know one another or know another chick I fucked... Uh uh... I avoid the drama entirely. RR |

Facebook is drama waiting to happen, I NEVER NEVER NEVER, accept a friend request from ANY target! and I don't sarg from there (anymore) Lesson learned the hard way! Thanks for pointing that out! Ok so I get the potentially damaging effects of some other random girl tagging me at some place... but to her, it could have been a classmate, someone from church, anything. The doubt/jealousy was enough to bring her to the point to text & subsequently call. I didn't mention it at all when we were on the phone, just to cast a little more doubt in her mind. Nothing malicious, but kind of trying to create some form of jealousy plotline. It worked, but maybe too well. Now, I don't know whether just to say fuck it all and leave -- not saying anything to her... or say hey - this is the deal, and lay everything out on the table to avoid having regrets later on in life. (... and maybe this can be a learning point for all) |
