So I just started trying to talk to this girl I have known for several years. We hung out the other day and went out to eat. She is an extremely friendly person and super outgoing; but one thing that caught my eye was her amazing eye contact. Like she won't look away unless I do and sometimes when we finish what we're saying we'll just look at eachother, not awkwardly long or anything but for like 3-4 seconds. I've never really had anyone do that. And she is always laughing and vigorously nodding her head. Pretty much I guess she is FULLY agreeing with everything I say And then I sorta didn't have enough money to pay for my food (in cash, all my money was in my personal checks) but I was only like 2 dollars short. She seemed to jump at the oppurtunity to pay for the rest and I told her I felt bad but she said it was completely fine and that if I was her boyfriend then it would have been different but since I wasn't she would help me out...is that just screaming IOI? I'm probably being AFC but don't know what to make of this. But because she has such a good personality, I don't know if she is like that to everyone...Any thoughts? Excuse me if this is a bad question I was just really wondering! |

When this eye contact thing happens again, don't look away until SHE does. See how much tension builds |

Body language reveals how a person feels, but it doesn't reveal why they feel that way. so body language can be quite unreliable. Most people won't make eye contact like that because its often viewed as a challenge in many cultures. ... She's not afraid of you, lol |

Hey man, Any interaction between a man and a women can be turned into a sexually interaction of person decides to escalate things. You're job is to create the attractions, you aren't sitting around waiting for some signs that the girl may be interested in you. You take the initiative and create the attraction from the ground up. The girl seems cool and flirty, you should be just fine. Did you make any advancements whats so ever? |

sadly no, I didn't even know where to start. Kino is easy with this girl. Like I feel sorta friend zoned but not really. I'm in the situation where I could try stuff and it wouldn't mess anything up. We would stay just as tight as ever...and she really would |

A good friend of mine who is probably the biggest player I've ever known, or even come across tells me "As soon as she even looks at me, my direction...I know its on". Whether she's thinking the same or not doesn't really matter much, as 60yoc wrote "it helps to be a bit delusional". Having this sort of frame is helpful as it'll tune your brain into gaming her rather than getting tripped up in any potential signs of disinterest (real or imagined). Remember, persistence is a VERY attractive quality; often women are expecting men to cower away when certain things are said, if you demonstrate to the contrary with your behavior (sticking around, showing that you're disaffected rather than fleeing from the prospect of getting a bruised ego) that can be extraordinarily attractive in itself.
