Ok, I'm gonna try to keep it short. So I broke up with my ex about a 2 months ago. We were together 2 years. For the last few months I've been doing everything I can do to keep her out of my life. About a week into the breakup she started hitting up my closest friends. These are friends she had no interest in before the breakup. Now she's calling them and making plans to hang out. Doesn't really bother me except for the fact that my friends will tend to flake on business any time a hot chick comes into the picture. I don't blame them as they they're AFC's but it's pissing me off because these are people I handle business with. I've had a talk with my business partner informing him that the things I talk to him about, and the business we handle together stays between us and that I need him to continue to make his deadlines regardless of our social situation. It didn't seem to register. He's been slipping for about 3 weeks now. We're nearly 2 weeks behind schedule and I'm about to re-arrange some close friendships in my life if I can't get this shit figured out. She clearly wants to degrade my friendships and business relationships. I'll be on the road for the next few months and will be relying heavily on my network here at home to handle business. Unfortunately if she keeps getting to my people it's going to delay things considerably. I'm sure some of you have dealt with this kind of a situation before. Any insight on how to strengthen close personal and business relationships from a distance would be appreciated. Also, I'd like insight on how to get her to focus on something besides me. Thank you all, El Buddha |

You made the right call by breaking off with this physco. The problem is not the girl but your business partners. If it wouldn't have been her it could've been someone else.Thank you all, El Buddha You need to set strong accountability with your business partners and talk about repercussions. There is nothing you need to do with this girl, not even bother talking to her. Just hold strict rules for your partners and hold them accountable. Thanks, Marc |
