Interact with people around. It's easier said then done, especially when you're starting out. My advice when it comes to starting with daygame is asking directions and opinions. Also talking to employees helps because these girls are paid to be nice. |

Dont be afraid. Dont think of it as a win or lose situation, it is just an exercise. |

It's ALL mindset. Be positive, be energetic (not schizzo), and be attentive when in the set. Don't think "Oh shit, there's a chick, I need to be brave...." The better mindset is "Hey there's a great looking lady I'd love to get to know better..." Then do it. There is NO substitute for practice. I've been doing PU since the 90's. I'm 45 now. Pick up has been around for centuries - just recently have definitions and strategies been actually put on paper. AA isn't something that I worry with. I'm able to conduct myself in social situations. I trust my instincts, I trust my wit and I trust the training and YEARS of experience doing this shit. It works. Start with baby steps. Meet people and talk with them. Men, women, it doesn't matter - just MEET them. Then, you'll start to see your anxiety to approach will diminish until you don't give a fuck. RR |

He's onto something here. When I first started coming out of my shell, that's where I'd get a lot of my interaction and break away from awkward conversation. It's easy to ask an employee where something is in a store and make casual conversation along the way and see what's offputting or working based off of their answers. Really good practice before you venture out into the world. My advice when it comes to starting with daygame is asking directions and opinions. Also talking to employees helps because these girls are paid to be nice. Also, focus on smiling too. People are naturally drawn to happy, pleasant people. Work on always having a natural "at rest" smile on your face and you may even get approached (at least this is true for me). |
