I have had a total of 1 girlfriend in my life when I was 17/18 for about 9 months. She dumped me because "we weren't spending enough time together", have not been with anyone since. Have not even been on a date since. And I'm still a virgin. I am now 21, I finish University in just over a week and move back home with my parents again. And despite my best efforts It will probably be a 3rd. I live in a tiny little town in the country (in the UK) where not much goes on, there isn't a single club and I only have 1 going out friend and a practically non existant social life. I know how tragic my case is so what do the succesful males of this site advise? I basically want to get more friends and build up a social life again. The annoying part is I'm very outgoing, I just have no one friends to go out with. Getting a girl would be a plus as well. I've read the DJ bible and the book of pook, but what else do you advise? |

If you situation sucks that bad then you will need to do something to change that. Yes not having people to go out with sucks. What sucks more is not having any place to really go or having a very small "pond" to fish from. It sounds like you will need to make what arrangements you can to move into a larger city.

Dear OP, I reach out to you because I think a lot of PUAs ignore the truth that sometimes scarcity of women is a real issue....but I do truly believe women exist in your small town. Teenage girls ARE there, you just need to actively seek them out. I'm not saying chase them or pay much attention to one particular girl, but start looking. Moving is perhaps not an option, and despite how small the pond is...fuck me....what other choice do you have ? I can't say much else man....it sucks...but your life isn't over... |

Looks like you have nothing to lose OP. Why not make use of this and move to a more interesting place? Spend your time at your parents place putting up a scheme of: -where are you going to live? -how are you going to finance this? -How do you implement any hobbies you have into this grand scheme? Mull it over, write it down, adjust, etc. you'll get there. |

I would strongly suggest ignoring girls right now. You need to get other things figured out first. (Maybe not ignore, just don't focus on it) You just graduated university, so hopefully you can use that to your advantage to land some kind of job. It doesn't have to be your dream job, just anything to start saving up money. I think this should be your top priority. While you are pursuing a job, I'd suggest reading up on a variety of different topics that interest you. This makes you more of a well-rounded person, and more knowledgeable. I shouldn't have to say that this is an aspect that will come in hand in all areas of life, not just pick up. Also start going to the gym. Don't do it just to get muscular or huge, but to maintain a healthy lifestyle. When things just aren't going your way, you can always hit the gym, and push your body to run just one more lap or lift one more rep. It is a great confidence boost, and will serve you for the rest of your life, if you keep it up. Once you have a solid job down and some income, you can start working on other plans, such as getting your own place, building a new wardrobe, and going out making friends. Eventually you'll have enough money saved up and hopefully a better resume, so move out to a city, find a better job and then find some ladies. I'd bet if you did all this, the ladies would find you Just remember, nothing happens over night. Never get down on yourself if you fail to see immediate results. This is all a slow learning process. You are like a piece of chicken right now. If you rush out, you are just gonna burn it and who wants a burnt piece of chicken? If you take it nice and slow with a solid game plan, you're gonna be the juiciest, best damn piece of chicken any girl will ever taste! Good Luck! |

There's good advice all around. If you move to a big city, there's more opportunity, and there's more freedom to make mistakes without it coming back to haunt you. But if moving is completely out of the question, I recommend focusing on improving your life first, with girls being a bonus instead of the main goal. Go to the gym. Find an interesting job. Or if you can't find that, find ANY job, and develop interesting hobbies. Travel. Master something cool. Take risks. |
