| Post subject: | Bartender mistake |
After my softball game last week we went to the bar for some drinks. I had my game going great with the bartender and on my round of drinks she gave me her name and told her to add her to FB. At the end of the night, I went back up and asked for a number and she said she can't be giving her number out. I should have accepted defeat and moved on, right? Well, instead, I added her to facebook yesterday (two days after the bar), and haven't been "accepted". The season just started, so how to I handle going to that bar after games? Act like nothing happened? Bring it up? Thanks |

Right now I'm learning a very valuable 'trick'. That is the ability to move on. To not get hooked on one particular woman. Even if I am hooked on her. You added her, she hasn't accepted for whatever reason. Maybe she hasn't logged in. But the point is - you're giving her far more attention than she deserves...who cares if she hasnt accepted you? You're the prize remember...now, about that 'inner game'... |

I don't mind that she hasn't added me. How do I avoid anything awkward at the bar? |

Things is only awkward as you make 'em. A real man would deal with that situation no doubt and bust on her and make light of the situation. Alas, you're asking the wrong guy. I've been in an awkward situation at work with my Oneitis...every day is like a fucking soap opera. I quite like it actually.Certainly makes work more interesting... |
