Okay, so this is my first weekend since finding the forums, so I am wanting to go out and try some approaches. I've contacted a few people who I know to see if I could get a partner in crime, but no takers. So my only option is to go out and sarge solo, which is a weird thought. I've read through the forums on it, and people seem to advocate it, but how do you go out to different bars on your own and not come across as, you know, weird? The question about 'who are you out with?' worried me, but I think I'll just say 'Well I was out with a friend, but he bailed' and leave it at that. Guessing its just a case of throwing yourself into it? |

If you feel weird about it, it is weird. Sarging solo is amazing in so many ways. Think about it. When you tell your friends you go out alone they are like "What, isn't that weird? What do you do by yourself?" The thing is, the idea of going out alone for them is terrifying. As is for you right now, but don't worry. When you know you can go out alone and have amazing time and enjoy through all the process, there is no next step after that. What is there in any area that you cannot do? As for people asking you Who are you with, and if they already percieve you as high value, telling that you are by yourself will only work for you. I have sarged with wings, with pivots, with friends and nowdays when I just wanna sarge I go solo. Logistics is so much easier. Just to illustrate that going out alone is not weird. Last Friday I went to one of the trendiest club in my city, and it was still early (just after midnight), it wasn't still crowded in front of club. I talked to the bouncers and saw one of them holding a list. I was like Is this a private party and he went Yes, but since you are alone feel free to enter. He knew what I was doing and since I felt comfortable, he felt comfortable as well. Just go out and don't worry. Best of luck, Defy |
