| Post subject: | Take Me Out Charity Event |
Hey everyone. I dare say this topic will be unique so it will be interesting to hear everybody's thoughts and advice. Tomorrow night I will be taking part in a Take Me Out Charity Event. For everyone who doesn't know what this means, 'Take Me Out' is a British dating show. Here is a youtube link to show you what the show is all about. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o6LGCvBt ... re=related My VT will be much more modest than the one on the main show (it is a charity event after all). In the VT, I say that I'm a Sales & Accounts Assistant and that I love it, I talk about the fact that I'm very sporty and have ran marathons. And I also say that I am looking for a fun and intelligent girl. There will also be a bit where my family & friends are encouraged to tell an embarassing story about me. And they have since told me that they revealed that I like to play the numbers game with women. Partly true but I'm sure they exaggerated in the VT! In the talent section of the show, I will be doing balloon modelling. I will be making a balloon flower such as the one in this video. I can make it in about 90 seconds. It might seem a bit lame but it's the only talent I have that I can perform on stage and at least it will be original! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EEkxDX4AN-c There will probably be an audience of about 600, a local DJ is presenting and a local glamour model will be one of the contestants. I think looks are quite important for this and I think I'm a decent looking guy. A lot of girls call me 'cute' lol. So sorry for writing such an essay before I actually get to the point but I'm just looking for your advice on what sort of attitude I should go in with. I was thinking to try to be positive, cool, self assured but not too cocky. It is also important that I go in with the mindset that I am the prize but be sure not to come across as arrogant. I also have a prepared response to girls' potential criticisms about me being a 'player' after what my friends say in the VT. So any tips will be welcomed, thanks. |

I'm probably over-thinking this but don't want to end up with all the girls turning their lights off lol |
