| Post subject: | Dress Code |
Hello all. I want to know how you guys dress, not in a peakocking sense but just generally when out sarging, specifically evening sarging in bars and clubs. I personally go with something just a little smarter than what most will be wearing, something along the lines of a nice formal shirt tucked into a pair of smart jeans or trousers as i stand out slightly. just wondering what other peoples views on the subject of dress are. |

I dress more casually than that, If I feel like using a long sleeved shirt I dont tuck it in, I don't wear the kind with an extra long tail or what ever you would call that(I did this more when I was younger and being worried about bouncers not letting me in with dress code as an excuse). Normally I just go tidy casual because I'm more comfortable that way. T-shirt jeans nikes just good enough to get me into a club basically with out being bounced for dress code. I'm friendly with the bouncers don't look like a drunken loser and usually have a girl with me though (go the mighty wing girl). Of course that is dependant on the club if I'm going to some "upper class" clubs may not let me in but to be honest I don't ever really have a problem. For a special night though I will "dazzle" a girl I've been seeing with a sudden change back to a long sleeved dress shirt and dress shoes. Keep that novelty factor going I guess. |

I am not sure where you live but most places I was guys don't know how to dress at all. All you need to do is dress a bit better than others. Buy a good cologne and spray few sprays. Keep your face clean and your hair groomed and bammm. You dressed and look better than 95% of guys out there. The main thing is to have inner confidence. |

fair play man, i guess keeping the good clothes as a suprise is always a good idea. I might lay off the smart look and go casual for a while to see how it goes. |

sounds simple enough to me, this is basically what i aim for anyway. |

Just remember to make sure its "Fresh/Clean" casual for lack of a better word

There was this guy in this club I saw, everything about him said fail-PUA. He was over dressed and clearly looked like an outcast because of it. Very long hair in a pony tail and dressed in a suit without a tie and he just looked so silly. Nothing wrong with dressing up and trying to stand out, but don't do it too much. As for me, depends on the venue. Top class night club, dress to impress. Suit up with or without a tie. But trousers, shoes, shirt and jacket at the min. Some less classier clubs I'll be out in jeans and a t-shirt/polo/shirt. A good idea is to look at pictures of stylish celebrities leaving clubs and see what they wear. And to get a good idea of good style in general, Tinie Tempah was voted Britain's most stylish man. Some of what he wears is a bit out there and some it normal, but it's all good. You're probably familiar with the phrase "it's not what you say but how you say it"...the same applies to style: it's not what you wear, it's how you wear it. |

Go butt naked and covered in mud.... You should go dressed according to the venue, if it's a top class club, go in a suit, you will NOT get in wearing jeans and/or town shoes, even if you look good. Bouncers normally look at shoes first, so make sure they're nice and polished. Other than that, casual is fine, just check out how people dress for each venue and you get the idea |
