Guys, I have a t-shirt which is plain black with the words "I'm Disabled" on it. The thing is that I AM GENUINELY disabled, so I thought it was good for a bit of tongue in cheek humour! BUT... Is wearing this t-shirt a DHV as it show that I can "laugh at my own misfortune" ? Or is it a DLV to wear it, as some people people (especially girls) may (wrongly) assume that I'm "belittling myself"? Thoughts? p.s. I only wear this t-shirt very occasionally! I also have another one with the FB logo on it that says "I Facebooked Your Mum" Thoughts on both? Cheers! |

Man if you are confident and comfortable with your disability, that shirt will probably start some conversations let them know you arn't deep inside, an angry disgruntled guy because of your disability and that they can talk about it with you. But as with almost anything some people are going to like it others won't. |

You're thinking too much into this. My friend has a t-shirt that says "not only am I perfect, I'm Spanish". You could argue that this t shirt is him qualifying himself. PUA doesn't go this deep, what your t-shirt says doesn't matter unless it's very offensive. If there's anything that could put a girl off through your clothes is probably just your style. If you have bad style it's unattractive. Other than that, don't worry. |
