before I knew anything about pick up I started hanging around with this girl, things were going ok, I asked her out, she said yes. We were hanging out a week later and things seemed a bit awkward, then she came out with some bullshit about not wanting to be in a relationship right now. fair enough. Over the past few months we've started hanging out a lot more and talking quite a lot (almost every day) and now we've just booked a holiday together. I was thinking about making another move, but she seems to have gone cold and taking forever to get back to me in the past week or so. I suppose this is a bit AFC'ish but I do value her as a friend and don't want to mess things up, but if there is a chance of us getting together i don't want to pass on the opportunity. what do you guys think? |

Keep it extremely friendly and casual. Once you are on vacation together, her mentality will change BIG TIME. Vacation mentality is often a release from one's reality ( the real world) This will be the perfect time to make a move. Within the first couple of days of vacation, you will see a change in her demeanor towards you. I guarantee it. Be patient, your time will come on vacation. In the mean time, be fun and friendly, get her excited about all the fun you are both gonna have.

I think you're an AFC. Also, the golden rule that my mentors always told me was: if you're afraid to lose her, you will. They were talking about sexual relationships, but it can also be applied to not getting the girl you want out of fear. So long as you're scared of "losing her as a friend," your chances of having a sexual or romantic relationship are very low. You need to take risks, my friend. Or just keep having sexual relations with your left hand and enjoy this glorious friendship. |
