Hey fellas, So a few weeks ago me and this girl were texting back and forth and really clicking with one another. I didn't have the confidence to just set up a day 2 which I now see was a mistake. During one of our conversations she just never responded. So a couple weeks later I texted her and she just never responded. Today she comes up to me in the hallway and says "Hey! We haven't talked in so long!" and I just told her I would text her. I want to hook-up with her but I don't want to seem like I'm available whenever SHE wants to talk. Suggestions? |

Wait a day or something to text her. If you're trying to set up a date, call her, make sure that you make the plans, pick the time, etc. Be in charge. I'm no PUA but that's my take on it. |

Yeah I knew not to text her right away. Theres a party on Saturday that she should be going to. Should I text her before to see if shes going or just go and not care? I feel like if I don't text her it shows I'm not outcome dependent. |

Give it a week. If she's not responded, CALL her and gain compliance. If she won't - bail. |

Text her and say, "Hey, you going to that party Saturday?" If it's yes "I might be there, not sure yet" If it's no, "Oh, I might go, not sure yet"I don't know, thought maybe adding suspicion to it would be a good idea. I don't know. Once again, not a PUA. See what somebody else has to say first, lol. |

Thanks for the help guys. So I'm not gonna call her tonight but tomorrow during the day. I'll find out if shes going to the party. Should I make it a point that I'm just calling to talk/catch up? |

My take on this: You've aknowledged you made the mistake of not at least making an effort for a D2. She knows you didn't make that effort so she moved on She said what she said when she saw you because she was being nice dude. You get the same response when you go to your high school reunion. It's just a nice thing to say. In all honesty I think you struck out here in terms of initiating contact. You gave her all the control by not being alpha from the start and she's turned off. If out of the blue she does text you, respond with a firm plan to take her out, dont ASK her out. This is just my opinion from the outside looking in. |

Quick Update: So I texted her for a little while and told her we would sort something out for this weekend. Tonight I'm just gonna let her know some mutual friends are going out tomorrow and shes welcome to join. If she does great, if not, there's gonna be a ton of girls where we're going. Appreciate the advice doods. |
