Post subject:  Lots of concerns

I worry about the bar scene. Not so much in just approaching women but I guess the whole AMOG thing or whatever where another guy is in the equation and he starts to insult me. How would I respond to that without the girl being instantly turned off by me? Like the name thats another term for calling someone a homosexual and has become a popular term among bodybuilders for calling someone a wuss by looking or acting like one. There's a lot of bad guys here that are tattooed, street smart, body building and its my biggest fear of going in a bar. Its not so much the women but guys like this that could intimidate things for me. I could just use a straight face and say "cool" or "nice knowing you too" but that could have consequences.

Also, a lot of imput here is to be interesting so does this mean that women should approach me. In other words don't approach a girl like you are expressing interest in her because it makes you creepy? I was reading this on another site. That maybe you should make yourself more appealing doing fun things and have her approach you......

Now I know what I have been told here about working on myself first and thats what I plan to do. But at the same time I am itching to go out and have a good time and well, there's a thing called reputation if I end up a social loser and get laughed out of the bar by guys I might want to initiate convo with(right now women just arent approachable until I fix myself).

First of all AMOG.If guy says anything to you while your talking to a girl the best way to defuse the situation is just dismiss him. Imagine you knew there was a million dollars somewhere and your on the way going as fast as possible to take it before anyone gets there and in the middle someone comes over to you and says "you look gay" what are you going to do? What I would do is tap his shoulder lightly and dismiss him "hey, sorry man I have no time now if you want to talk to me you gota try another time". Think about it how will it make him feel. Like a big looser. Because he is the one trying to talk to you and your rejecting him. If he stays there and keeps talking he'll be perceived as annoying and low value.

It's not creepy to show interest in woman. Rather it's creepy to talk to a woman and now show interest. She starts to wonder what in the world is this guy trying to do here. She thinks "if he's not interested in me why is he talking to me it's so creepy".

Reputation will only be lowered if you believe it will be lowered. If you truly believe in what your doing and are comfortable with it your reputation will always be perceived high.

Learn this - Most people are afraid of confrontation. They try to avoid it at all costs. Reading your post, I assume that includes yourself. This includes most people at a bar, guys and girls. Alcohol can change things, but it is easy to defuse a drunk person.

I understand what you're saying. You start talking to a girl, a male friend of hers comes over and starts trouble. There are a couple paths you can take, some are wiser than others. You can immediately walk away - safe choice, she probably wasn't worth the effort anyways. You can continue to talk to her as you were - this will cause the instigator to get angry and either walk away himself or push harder. You can tell the girl to follow you someplace a little quieter and see what she says. Or, you can be billy-bad-ass and start an argument, which makes neither of you look good.

But let's be honest, this won't happen often. Like I said earlier, most people try to avoid getting into arguments. Even if the guy is twice your size, it doesn't mean he will automatically try to kill your chances. A lot of built guys have confidence issues, and are afraid to make themselves look bad.

Yeah, most of the time people will avoid confrontation. Just pay attention to everyone's body language and demeanor, because there are some warning signs of when you should just walk away. Sometimes the area you are in can influence "AMOGing" situations as well. Though I am generally not a fan of AMOGing stuff since it is easy to look like a dick and in the worst case scenario things can kick off.

Where I live, if I hit on someone's girlfriend and then tried all this Tyler Durden AMOGing stuff, I am going to have my face thoroughly smashed in. Simple as.

I've read alot of Tyler Durden's AMOG material and there are actually different aspects to it. Here's a good post (read the whole thing): http://www.fastseduction.com/phrases/my ... verytime.
