I found this article from Ciaran from RSD, well known for "shock and awe" and the "apocalypse". He essentially left pick up saying it was the "the wrong path" his article was fairly tame but then the comments go on for thousands of words of really dark material.

Any opinions on this, is he just going through a phase? This was back in 2008 does anyone know what he is up to now?

I would post this in the lounge but I'm a couple posts short. Could a moderator move it?

To each his own, really. Some people feel chocolate takes them to a dark place. I feel alcohol takes me to a dark place because alcoholism runs in my family, so I don't drink. Other people can enjoy alcohol freely. It's all relative.

That is one stupid comment. Come on you're kidding right? There is some deep truth in the posts of Ciaran there, and it is an absolute must-read. He is not saying seduction or sex merely takes you to a dark place, he stresses that seduction is fundamentally fucked up.

Well said. He seems to feel that he's describing the darkness. If you ask me, he's creating it.

That's some pretty deep shit. Ciaran was one of the best in the PUA community in his time. It's the Midas touch of seduction were everything you held dear is turned to that which you desired more than anything then discovered you didn't want it after all it was all an illusion but there's no going back to how you were.

Ha you have resurrected a year old thread. Basically the AO is (on opening obviously):

PUA:Hi
HB:Hi
PUA:What are you doing later?
HB:Not sure why?
PUA: Want to come back to my place?
............
..........
Hold eye contact and hold the tension by not smiling, cracking a joke etc.... Until she says something.

Then take any other response, other than "no" or a flat out rejection/her walking a way, as a shit test.

e.g we've just met, I have a bf, I'm not that kind of girl. Persist through and then continue the PU and get the lay.

Obviously this requires extreme balls. I like to consider myself a risk taker, yet I've tried it once and just felt to awkward to continue.

try google and you should be able to find a full version.
