Ok here is the set up.

I have been reading The Game: Penetrating the Secret Society of Pickup Artists and one of the major things stressed in the book is to smile and negs.

I am wondering if the following would really get you anywhere.

You see a girl you want to talk to. Make eye contact with her make your way to her. While your doing this make sure your smiling.

To her it may look like your about to talk her, but instead of engaging contact with her just walk past her still smiling.

In my head I see that being a slight neg.

What do you guys think.... would this even work, would it get you anywhere ?

NO! You don't neg a girl who is smiling at you waiting for you to open. If she gives you attitude after you open, then maybe neg. Maybe. But you're talking about flat-out ignoring a girl who is ready for you to open. It's a dickish move that will get you nothing but a cold bed when you leave the club.

but yes, you're basically asking "if I just walk past a girl smiling and never talk to her will she chase me" - the answer will always be no

You only neg a girl who is misbehaving or being a bitch to you.

If a girl is throwing you IOIs, you don't neg her. Use push/pull instead. It's far more effective.

Also, I hope you don't walk right by HBs that are giving you AIs. Walking past a girl that is dying for you to approach her doesn't make you high value, and it doesn't make her chase you. It makes her think you're an unconfident typical guy.

This must be the dumbest thing I've ever read on this forum. Even when I knew nothing about pick-up and had just read the game, I knew better than this.

To the OP: What do you expect to hear? That the girl would chase you down and start tearing your clothes off? This is a really dumb idea, and btw negs are no longer relevant in today's game. (Partially because 95% of guys don't know HOW to neg).
