Hey guys, I started getting in to this business a while ago, and my friends who were in the game befor,e told me that I shouldn't start because if you get into it, it eventually makes you an asshole and causes you to lose your friends (which in that case are not in the game). So, thats basically why I stopped, and after a while things started to go back to normal ( lost some confidence, less success in general). Now I wanted to ask you guys who have been and experiencde everything in this game, if it is true that being good in the game causes you to be an asshole and lose your close friends.I'm asking this because I'm considering to come back to the game. Thanks, Joker500 |

No, that's completely untrue. Some people may change into an asshole but I would hardly say that's what regularly happens. |

Yes. Just look at TygaNasty and RetiredRodeo. JK JK...Of course not. Some people change into assholes because they do not utilize game properly. |

Being good at the game isn't what will make you 'lose your friends'. The process from AFC->PUA is what will because you will be shifting insanely between personalities and experimentation. Not all friends appreciate that sudden change. If you manage to keep PU separated from your normal social circle (sort of like when you separate work and school from free time), you should be fine. Having a social circle of PU-friends and having a social circle of your current friends is how I recommend for it to be like. When I started 'losing friends' and being an outcast in the beginning, ^this is what solved it all. |

Quote: Hey guys,
You are SO wrong. If people turned into assholes, then guys like Neil Strauss, Mystery, and others are NOT assholes. You are doing something wrong here. We are here to get better with women, not to become assholes. If you think women like jerks and assholes, then you are wrong. They want a man, who has guts and spine to stand up for himself. Although he may sometimes be perceived as an asshole, but he is not. You need to change your behavior and adjust yourself.

Actually, I gained more women friends in the short period when I learned about game than when I was in college as president of a fraternity. I also got to fuck more women now (not prostitutes) than when I was in college. I think Little Panda has a great insight and solution which apply to AFCs. I sure was an AFC before but I am also an alpha male so my social circle has actually expanded rather than contracted. |
