So, this HB9 at work visited my office just before lunch and the conversation went like this: Her: Hey, where are you going for lunch? Me: I'm thinking of going to Starbucks, wanna join me? Her: I thought you might be going to McDonald's. I was going to ask you to pick me up a pack of fries... Me: Yeah, Id like to go to McDonalds actually. Her: Cool, would you be able to pick me up a pack of fries and bring them back to the canteen for me? (I then agreed to pick up her order and I brought it back to her. I know I failed this shit test miserably, but in my defence she caught me by surprise as she doesn't call into my office that often and I was kinda tired at the time.) |

You failed a compliance test. Mistake has been made and it needs to be corrected. Looks like you need to step up and be assertive. Next time, if you are truly interested to go somewhere, go there, no matter how much the girl wants to go somewhere else. She asked you for to pickup a pack of fries for her. Why did you say yes? What was holding you down from saying, that we will do some other day or comeon you would love the coffee there? You need to be assertive. Here is an example Her: Hey, where are you going for lunch? Me: I'm thinking of going to Starbucks, wanna join me? Her: I thought you might be going to McDonald's. I was going to ask you to pick me up a pack of fries... Me: Yah, lets do that some other time, you would really love the new espresso that came out recently. You NEED to be assertive, and its really important. Do things because YOU want to do them, not because someone else wants you to do that for them. Assertiveness is very important in relationships and PU girls. |

Yeah, it was a actually compliance test and I failed it miserably. Anyway to redeem this situation? |

Go up to her sometime in the next week and do the same she did to you. And then throw in equality between genders out there if she disagrees (in a funny way). If shes busy, don't make a big deal of it. Example: You: Feeling like some McDonalds again? Her: Oh yeah that would be great! You: Drop $$ on the table. Great, I'll have a number 4. If she whines, you can be like "Haha, oh I see how it is, I thought there was equality within this office." When she comes back, praise her efforts in getting your order right and invite her to eat with you. If she doesn't bite to go get your stuff or eat with you, move on. |

Sorry I don't understand?I'm pretty sure I'm not in the friend zone. I failed a compliance test, but I don't think I'm in the friend zone just yet. |

You shouldn't have brought her fries. You could have, for example, brought her some fries unannounced on your way back to work because you were going there anyway and she'd likely see it as sweet. Her: Hey, where are you going for lunch? Me: Dunno yet gotta meet someone depends where SHE wants to go. ************** Her: Hey, where are you going for lunch? Me: Somewhere between your labia and clitoris. ************** Her: Hey, where are you going for lunch? Me: Gonna try this new place I've wanted to try for a while now Her: Where's that? Me: You'll have to come to find out. |
