Hi, so I have a 9 month pomeranian puppy(looks like this http://a7.sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos- ... 3971_n.jpg), and one time when I brought him to the mall with me a lot of girls approached me and told me how cute my dog was, so I wanted to know, do you think this little guy would help my game out a lot more?

No.

Sure, it'll start conversations, but a dog won't help you avoid being needy, it won't force you to escalate, and it won't help you maintain a strong frame. The fundamentals can't be replaced with a puppy. Just be careful that you don't start to think that you NEED the dog in order to meet women. Earn your success....and maybe get a hat or something silly for the dog :D

As long as you didn't specifically get a puppy for the purpose of trying to bag a chick, there's no reason why it can't help you as an ice breaker. If you did though, that's totally screwed.
