Hey guys. I'm heading out to a night club tonight and am a bit nervous. I've been lurking, reading and learning stuff from useful sticky threads but I just can't seem to apply or remember them when I'm out!. Decided to push myself out there and start interacting. Tonight would be a solo night because one in my area is free. Any last minute tips, advice, and trick to keep me in the game is greatly appreciated. |

be yourself, get to know the bouncer, bartender, and don't be creepy by randomly grinding random girls unless you're incredibly good looking. |

I found clubs to be very difficult to get girls. Music is so loud and most girls rather dance with other girls than some strangers. |

Tonight was a complete self esteem kick back. Thought I would go out and use my dance moves as chick magnet. Turns out, I can't dance nor people who can dance attract chicks. With no back up plans, I just stood by the washroom door and move my feet a couple inches every other second. However, I did do something that's worth mentioning. I went up to the bartender and asked 'Is this place going to get any busier?' Bartender 'Ya, it'll get a bit busier' 'When?' 'In an hour or so' 'Alright, I'll hold you against that' did a finger point, she gave me a small smile. _____________ Over all, tonight was a total failure. Tomorrow, work on my self esteem by hitting the gym hard... Then maybe practice some dance moves... |

Hey mate, Let me give you a few newbie trials to run before you hit the club. Definitely rate these as giving me a great frame for opening in a club. Propose, spontaneously whilst grabbing their hand on one knee, to over 50 different girls walking to the club. You'll get a lot of laughs, some sneers, but you'll also feel pretty good. You'll also realize that going up to girls isn't that big of a deal. You'll note 90% of guys DO NOT approach sets in clubs. I always like to open those sets of guys first before moving on to girls to build some confidence and the right mood. The dance floor is a trap - you'll rarely get more than a hookup there. Best thing to do is use it to show you don't give a shit, but even then I don't rate it. Here's your next little challenge - go up to one girl, just one, and use the very old opener: 'If I wasn't gay, you'd so be my type.' Deliver with a smile and lean back. You'll get a response and I reckon 1/2 the time, a hug. Then just ask 'How do you guys know each other?' and the conversation should just flow from there! Go in not looking to hookup, but to make friends. Guys who are goal orientated when they go out show it, and it looks awful. Making friends will get you socially proofed to the hilt as well, which will make approaching more sets easier! Hope that helps a little bit! --- Sublimed |
