Evening gents, To give a little background, I've been after a girl off my course for a while now and last month we pulled and we went back to hers and did everything but sleep together. We were both fairly drunk, but it's been on the cards for a while as we get on fairly well and we'd been messaging each other on Facebook regularly. I got her number and for a week or so we exchanged texts until BAM! NOTHING! I was a little perplexed, but waited.... and waited. Nothing. So I went balls out and sent her another text (after a drunken Saturday night) just asking if she wanted to go out for a drink. She said yes, so we did on Saturday. Again, we had a few drinks and I felt the night went really well. She came back to mine and stopped over and again we did everything but sleep together, which is fine, I really don't mind that. However, we last exchanged texts on Sunday morning and I've heard nothing from her since, AGAIN. I literally have no fucking idea what she could be thinking. Naturally, if you do not wish to pursue someone, then usually the texts end. I have done this in the past, so I understand the signs. However, her silence before and then agreeing to go out has planted some doubt in my mind. i don't want to come across as desperate and keep sending her double texts without a response. At the same time I genuinely like her and think things between us could develop and I want to try something to make it happen. I have a 'reputation' on our course too, after sleeping with 2 girls on it. However, I would like something to develop with his girl. She also got out of a 9 year relationship, although I don't know the specifics (I tried to avoid that in conversation...), so I'm unsure if it's a recent break or not. Any advice guys? Sorry for the bloody essay. |

She could be thinking you're the class whore. I mean you said you both did everything ...includes kissing..but at the same time..serious alcohol is involved. I'd say move on. I mean to say you're approaching this girl than approaching sets everyday is ridiculous. It only takes about 8-10 minutes to go into comfort building. |

It doesn't matter if you have a "reputation," that only tells a girl that you're preselected. Women want men that other women want to fuck; a man cannot be a "whore," that's a label generated from nice guy conditioning. Worst case scenario, you fuck too many girls but aren't subtle about it in which case you come off as too abrasively secksual and it activates a girl's anti-slut defense. But seeing your girl's willingness to reciprocate, this is clearly not the case. A girl "doing everything" except for secks is a result of last minute resistance, it's not as unusual as you think. Because of how women are conditioned, there's a big jump when it comes to Penis-In-Vagina. It sounds stupid, but I know girls who have done everything except for that and consider themselves "purer" or more morally righteous because of it. Unless there's enough attraction/rapport, a girl will not feel the need to INVEST in you that deeply. Remember secks for women is a much bigger jump than it is for men; not just because of cultural stigma but also because biomechanics demands it (getting pregnant is a MUCH bigger investment than dumping sperm into a vagina). Your problem is simple, there's just not ENOUGH attraction and rapport. Stop the double texting, play it more cooly, and be talking to other girls to raise your value. Lay back a bit and don't pursue it too aggressively, you don't want to give off a desperate vibe. But besides the aloofness, work on building a deeper EMOTIONAL bond; that's the key behind overcoming lmr. As for the alcohol, I doubt that's a big factor in getting her to do shit with you. It loosens her inhibitions, but I wouldn't go so far as to say "she's only interested when she's drunk. |
