Give it some 2 to 3 months. The most natural thing that human beings do is to breath. Even babies need to learn how to walk for several weeks or so. Those babies who learn to walk in 2 minutes are the only exceptions.

| Post subject: | Finding the right method for me. |
There are a lot of different methods and books about becoming a pick up artist, I myself am very new (been aware of PUA for about a week now) and currently making my way through MM as from what I have been reading on the forum a lot of people say it is a good system for new people to get into it. However last night I was out and practising for the first time in field, unfortunately as this was a party for my cousin (who is much older) there was not many single ladies of around my age, but instead of taking this as a bad sign I practiced a few routines like ESP who lies more men or women ect and practicing my body language just to get a bit used to them and this was going very well. Later on in the even I even opened with someone of my age and was going pretty well, however after a few mins my mind froze and I ended up walking away. Thinking it through I realised why I froze, it was not because I did not know the material it was because it did not feel 'natural' to me, I did not feel like I was being myself, I also was struggling to read her body language (something I normally can do quiet easily when around people), the amount I had to drink may also have counted to this. So my question is, should I keep going with the MM for now just get experience and perhaps write off last night as new boy mistakes? or should I try another method instead, and if you think I should try another method is there one you could suggest that might suit me a bit better? |

Yep. You're on the right path because you STARTED testing one method. Eventually, you'll have to try all methods that you can come across with if you want to be very good at this. That, of course, depends on your goal. When you get enough experience, you'll need some of these:

dude you are TESTING it. try it for like a month then analyze it yourself. Remember almost all PUA's have different methods and they work for themselves. You just have to find yours. I tried MM, David D and Brent Smith styles and they didnt work for me. i highly suggest "dating to relating from a to z" book to you. i believe that will help you. remember not all the women are the same, same thing for the men too. good luck my friend ;) |

You're over-complicating things dude, the best Players I know who would shit all over all of the so called 'PUA's you have just mentioned do not follow any methods, they just operate off a wealth of knowledge gained from socializing with beautiful women and other successful players alike. If you want to be someone who is really attractive to beautiful women and is able to keep them once he picks them up, then you need to be a cool confidant dude from the inside to the out, if you are operating off other guys methods (who are mostly full of shit themselves in the first place), then no matter how cool you think you are acting you will always know that deep down you are not and intuitive women can sense this self-doubt in men. Stop trying to be a PUA robot and start trying to be a real man who shamelessly and confidently goes after what he wants out of life, you already have the perfect lines and moves in your head to pick up any girl, you are just uncalibrated because you spend too much time in theory and not enough in practice. There are plenty of guys on here that will tell you that you need to know this, or you need to know that in order to succeed, well this is bullshit and you know why? Because men have been successfully picking up hot babes since the beginning of time way before the concept of PUA ever existed. PUA is not the evolution of attraction and seduction it is just a very inefficient means of achieving confidence and getting experience with women, it's not a short cut it is a labyrinth of bullshit. |

I'm 19 and HAD the exact same problem. I met an old cutie from school over Xmas who I haven't seen for years. I thought bingo I'm in! Uses openers etc just fucked me over big time and she went to someone else. I cannot stress it enough: go natural game, it's a little trickier to start with but it makes you better in PUA, socially (not just with women but everyone), more confident in yourself that you don't need routines and it generally makes you a better person. Again, I really can't stress how great natural game is. Read The Attraction Code, ignore the routines etc but Vin Di Carlo makes a great example of how a womens mind works. And knowing that, my games gone up massively. The book isn't focused on natural game, but once you've read it and thought about what he talks about everything makes sense. Take my advice, I promise you you won't go wrong. |
