Good advice dude, something simple which we are all taught from a young age 'putting yourself in anothers shoes' is good for putting this in perspective.

I met a girl and she has a boyfriend. Hi guys, So i'm looking for any advice you can give me here. I met a girl at a club/bar at the weekend, pretty early she told me she had a bf but i just ignored it as i always do. The club was closing and she was with a guy friend of hers who she had lost and had to wait on. We stood and chatted for a while just talking about random stuff. So then her friend appeared and said they had to go now but asked if she was going to give me her number, which then she did and invited me to a party her friend is having this week. So couple of days later i texted her, and again she told me that she had a bf (and since i have seen on her fb that this is true). So we texted for a bit, and we have talked on fb for probs two hours the past two days with her talking as much if not more than i have. So maybe i am reading into this too much....but what's the deal here? Is she just a nice girl who likes meeting new people or is there something else? The party is tomorrow night, although i don't know if i will go, but i'm thinking of saying to her something like....can't make it (cause i'm going out with some of my mates) - but would your bf be opposed to you joining me for some pool to show off your sporting prowess (i have already joked about her being bad at sport) and a couple of drinks at *insert bar name* on friday? What do you guys think, should i leave it, or see where it goes? |

Put your self in her shoes. You have a girlfriend, you don't cheat. You're at the bar, a pretty girl approaches you. You get on well, you're interested in her but you know you can't do anything but you still want to have some kind of involvement with her, you enjoy her company. You keep her there, you talk a lot. She's fun, and gives you a little rush. You get on well. But you know you won't do anything but for now you're just content on getting to know her and enjoying her company. |
