Hey I met this chick who is in a couple of my classes.. We hit it off really well, we only started to talk due to her being in a group assignment and we had to exchange numbers.. I am a person who doesn't like to text potential females due to I beleive it kilsl attraction. After class the other way I said "i am going for a beer at the uni bar lets go". I didn't give her a choice and she came. I was cracking jokes left right and centre and we had a great time and the messages have happened nearly every day since until l cease them.. I have been in this position before and have been into that awful friend zone to many times, so i need to put forward my intentions asap... We are meeting up in 2 days to do an online test together, she has jsut sent me a message aswell... Usually my game is to show your intentions by obtaining the number and since its been done I am not sure, this is where my game isnt at its strongest. Should I message her tonight saying some thing or wait till sunday and what should be my choice of words... l look forward to peoples response.. Regards Bagz |

Sounds like it's going well for you dude but you need to avoid slipping into the friend zone, as you've pointed out yourself. I'd try arrange to see her outside of a school context. Think of something that would be fun and interesting to do with her and get her to go to it with you. When you are there, look for IOIs and then kino escalate etc. Any specific questions feel free to ask. |

If I'm interpreting this correctly, I would make my move when she comes over to do the online test. I would also stop texting her until the day that she comes over to hang out with you. For future reference, I would have brought her back to my dorm/apartment after that bar encounter, I also would not have brought her to the bar, I would have invited her for drinks but made a detour to your place to pick up money or something and just close her there. And as the guy above mentioned, game more girls. You're in college, you should have a surplus of chicks, never a scarcity. |

Before I got my shit together and set out to improve myself, I was seriously in the friend zone with a TON of beautiful women. I am a goodlooking guy, sorry to be arrogant but that's how it is, I am regularly told I am. Every girl I am friends with at some point has fancied me but I always hit the friend zone because I was too damn nice or afraid to go for what I wanted! I even asked them afterwards why it never happened between us and that's essentially what they told me. I never did anything! I am very familiar with the friend zone and as a result I am pretty damn knowledgeable about it, what gets you in it and a little on how to get out. My point is, if you don't make a move or do anything it's perhaps the number one contributing factor in being consigned to the friend zone. I'm a conventionally handsome guy but you cannot get by on looks alone and they don't even matter a whole lot; I am living proof of that. |
