I will find several people asking me on a night out why I am single.
It is becoming a regular thing.I make out with a guy, we talk he asks me why are you single? . I get it in texts as well .Or sometimes im just talking to a guy being flirty and I get that question thrown at me.

first of all what the hell of a question is that ? is it an IOI ? or are most of the guys I flirt with just silly-

Also what would be the ideal answer?

I either say I am picky or I have never been in love before so therefore no relationship. I do feel like these answers are a bit lame so I would love some suggestions. I dont want to say these things their too like heavy when your going out and just get talking with a guy - I want to keep conversation light and refreshing. Personally, I would simply end the conversation right there if someone was talking like that to me...but that's just me...I guess you could flip it back to them as someone pointed out...

I recall hearing this moreso when I was younger, in my twenties, it doesn't come up that often, actually, at all now in my 30's (and divorced). It's like the same question why did your last relationship? Like it was all your fault, it's bs. It is someone insecure looking for "issues" with you (which don't exist) to protect themselves from their own insecurities, and, as another member pointed out, being a bunch of "pussies."
