I know this has been discussed to death on this forum. But I'm looking for some more input on the subject from the experienced PUAs out there. I was always against cockiness until I saw this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uHdrPCTZ ... re=related and it obviously worked well. I'm 19 btw, so for my age I could get away with it whereas a 40 year old couldn't IMO. What's your take on it all? I can at time be naturally cocky, I've kept it under wraps but I'm thinking I should let it show? |

too much cockiness is annoying, and can often be misconstrued as arrogance |

You absolutely have to be funny with the way you're cocky or it will make you look like a huge douchebag. It's amazing to see how many people, including my own friends, think cockiness is the same as arrogance. If you feel like you can't discern the difference, do some hardcore reading on the topic or just avoid doing it altogether, honestly. |

Oh, 40 yo can get away with cockiness. I'm 37 and started being a little more cocky, but you have to know when to turn it down, because as everyone points out, too much can come across as arrogant. Although, since you 19, I agree, at the age you can get away with a lot more. Most girls in your peer group are so insecure, you probably don't even realize it...damn, I didn't when I was your age...you definitely have a leg up... I'm 42 years old brother and I get away with cockiness most of the time. I can no longer remember the last time when a woman got pissed off with me. But like Snarg said here, it has to be combined with being cocky and playful. I sarge women of all ages. My current friends are in the 17 to 23 year old age range. I keep getting new friends in my daily sarges. I've reached a point where I can say to any woman I like that she gives me a hard on without her getting offended. The usual cocky lines I say are (you can use these too):

...love it. One always like is, "Don't you know I'm out of your league." you obviously got to say this the right way, at the right time, in the right moment, because if done wrong this easily can come off as arrogant...I find it works best with women you know kind of well, maybe your friends, but there's a little tension (sexual) and her guard is up a little... Anyway, good stuff guys. |

Good perspectives. I think I'll just stick to my natural sense. Is it crucial that it's funny? What if I say something slightly arrogant but with a smile and in the right tone? Could I get away with that? Quote: Most girls in your peer group are so insecure, you probably don't even realize it...damn, I didn't when I was your age...you definitely have a leg up...
Dude fucking share you're experience from wiser one to younger one. How do I take advantage of that?Hopefully out tomorrow night, I'll let my cocky side show through and see what happens. |

Ha, the problem was when I was young I was just as clueless!Quote: Most girls in your peer group are so insecure, you probably don't even realize it...damn, I didn't when I was your age...you definitely have a leg up...
Dude fucking share you're experience from wiser one to younger one. How do I take advantage of that?Hopefully out tomorrow night, I'll let my cocky side show through and see what happens. Young girls are always competing with each other, women in general do this, but much worse when there younger. Don't be surprised if thesed young hotties look in the mirror and think that they're fat. I had a cousin who was bulimic in college, and she was anything but fat and tremendously popular, kind of weird, right? She's the last person who I'd think would ever be insecure, but young girls just are. They also totally f with each others self-esteem and always looking for acceptance.... There's a good chance she may not even know how cute she is, and if she does, you'll definitely know. The great thing about being young is there is so many excuse to hang out, so just be around, not stalkerish, but I'm sure you young people have certain places you tend to frequent. Definitely make her laugh and be outgoing, befriend her friends...funny thing, as I think about it, it's pretty much do what the guys on this board tell you. Most guys you're age probably don't know how to talk to girls, so just be confident (and not some frat boy idiot) and think to yourself she's probably more insecure than you are, because she probably is. Women like attention, young insecure girls, love it - also, being able to express yourself without immature fart jokes and whatnot will get you far as well; I'm being facecious, but I think you know what I mean. Do I make any sense? Sorry if I don't, I'm trying to think how it was to be 19 again. (oh, get a nice pair of shoes also!) |

I almost forgot. When saying the cocky lines, say them with a serious look on your face or act like you're seriously offended. This creates massive tension in the woman and to break that tension she'll tap your arm and giggle. Don't give in that easily. Look her in the eye with a serious face then after 3 or 5 seconds, smile at her. If you deliver the C&F lines with a smile right from the start, then you'll lose the Dopamine Effect. |

stugots - cheers pal. Everything's on this forum, problem is it's so bloody massive it's hard to dig around or remember it all!! Hellhound - interesting video. i guess I'd have to isolate her when trying that, in a group and within that time span (which is quite long really) I could lose her attention. I've looked on Youtube and I can see how and where this works, not sure it fits in with my version of cocky. I'm going to try an incorporate it where it fits. Back to Youtube for me... |
