the difference is the frame, approval seeking vs approval giving what is going on in your head when you are saying what you are saying, it is not the words, it is not what you say, it is how you say it with your qualification, are you kissing her ass to try to get her to like you, or are you letting her know that you like her? what is the frame around the interaction |
