hey
does anybody know how to get into state fast??
i heard quite a lot of people talking about it and that some even do it when they get up in the morning...
any idea?

When it comes to picking up and sarging, well you know that initial pain period at the beginning of the night when your facing bitch butterflies .. It will pass away. How do i do this? I thrust myself to the first girl i see.. Fat, ugly, beautiful amazing.. basically any girl that comes across me! Make it a personal goal to make sure you talk to that first girl you see that night! It gets much much easier the more you do it! But if you are not going to do, you will never progress!! Good luck

Just shower and look fresh, there should be no "state" you need to prepare for. Just go out with a set of goals. You want to meet 30 girls, you want 10 numbers, you want 5 K-closes, or 2ONS. Stop thinking of this state crap, just go out and have a good time.

Nah I think state does play a role.

You only need to look at musicians and sports athletes. They all get in to 'state' before hitting the stage or before their game/race.

It's just a mentality that some people need to get in to so they are able to perform at their best. Just relax and loosen yourself up.

Try going in to a shop before going out to buy chewing gum a drink whatever. Just have a chat to the assistant. Then start saying hi to people on the street. Nothing more, just a hi and keep walking. Little things like that really help you get in to teh habit of talking to woman so by the time you hit a bar or club your already used to it and it will feel more natural.

Like KimPa says too, go and talk to the first woman you see without hesitation. It really sets you up for the night.

For me, besides obvious pain period with first couple of sets, it depends a lot on my general state that day, or the last couple of days. Whether I feel good or bad I project it and it reflects in responses I get.

there was a a great post a while ago about exactly what to do to get into state. but the advice about talking to girls straight away is very very good.

also look at the videos section there is a fantastic video of robbie williams that explains how he got into state on a show he was performing on.... really good advice on that too.

You would have to know how to get into state slowly first on your own, despite where you are and what you're doing, before you can learn to get into state fast...

Everyone wants the short cuts, and that is just not how it works man.... smh
