| Post subject: | Tough 5 set initial eye contact |
Tonight i went to one of my local college bars (i'm a student btw). I saw a 5 set, which was of 2 of my friends and 3 girls. Out of the three there was one girl that made eye contact with me from across from the bar while I was ordering a drink. We made eye contact a few times. I took this as an IOI, which enabled me to join the set. My friends turned around and said hey to me, and i made small talk with one of the guys i had not seen in awhile. So, at this point i have not interacted with the girls (other than the eye contact with one). Then, one of the girls (who was belligerent) pulled out a flask of vodka and was taking shots (very obviously, btw) and passing it around a bit. So i engaged the eye contact girl by saying, "good luck taking her home". She just replied amusingly saying oh no shes fine..implying that this girl is used to being the sloppy girl in the room. So anyway i bantered a little bit but couldn't really engage her. We probably exchanged a minutes worth of dialog. I never really made it apparent that i was interested in fucking her. I know that i need to sack up and just make it obvious, but there were so many people i knew there. So, I made a few funny jokes that received good responses from her. The jokes were all situational based on the girl and the flask etc...anwayway after a bit the convo just died out. I stopped pursuing her. I just kind of chilled out and acted uninterested (as a strategy-I know it wasnt the right one now..) and had a good time. Bar closed an hour after that point. Should i try and go to places where I don't know anyone and practice my game? Or keep hitting on girls that I will most likely see again? How do i get her interested enough to the point that she wants to continue the convo while its dieing out? |
