PUA Forum :: i feel that its too much

i'm a complete beginner but feel that everything is just too much. i want to work out because i'm an ecto and that isnt attractive for hookups. if i could get them without that i wouldnt care. i do want to work out for me also, but its time consuming and it will break my bank. but if that alone isnt enough, paying for a 30 dollar haircut? buying some big time cologne? buying expensive clothes? i guess i might as well say i'm not good enough to be a pua, but am i not good enough for decent looking dtf women either if i can't do all that?

whats even worse is i don't want to let this guy down who his brother in law i'm friends with has been trying to help me out and suggested we hang out and meet girls. while the guy has some low self esteem with women, he doesnt with guys so how the heck do i be able to click with this guy when i don't meet his critera other than having trouble with women. and he wears suits to go out, likes to go bowling, cares deeply about his family, three years younger, has all his hair. i'm the complete opposite.

When you first start surfing you don't go and buy a great surfboard, amazing board wax, a super strong leash and an award winning wet suit.

A step at a time. My haircut costs 10 euros every 3 weeks and it suits me and looks good.

Gym - it takes time so no point losing sleep over it. Go to the gym for a few weeks, get fit, see when the gyms busy and think of what kind of things you wanna do. Find some sample routines online. Eat right. Google 'iamalpham', he's an image consulter and charges $7 a month but his routines are great plus you can get style advice. E-mail him with a question and I guarantee you he'll answer it for you.

My cologne? Costs about 50 euros. Barely wear it tbh, I forget. This is not going to decide if a girl fucks you or not.

Expensive clothes? Ha.

Re-read what PUA is all about. It's not about being super attractive with looks, it's mainly about your personality. Looks play a part but don't freak out that much.

Fuze has you right, man. Complaining about money is the loser's path. If you want more money, identify the work you need to do to get there, and get in the game for the long haul. This doesn't change over night, so be prepared to invest some effort in making your life better.

i want to like this guy, i see a lot of me in him based on being kind of different i guess. we both love sports, he loves football and so do i, he likes racing, i want to not watch as much but i do follow it. but he has lifestyle too that i don't have. however i believe i could be a big help to him in approaching women. even though i have never done it in a long while, i have read a lot on these boards on seduction and everything and know i have to implement my own game. the lay reports i have also looked closely at at how the intros got started and all. i may be a natural who knows, i havent went out there looking my best though yet. a decent haircut/concealed could probably do wonders and then maybe i would have something appealing.

You may not understand this but I hope you do.. If you want more money, its as simple as just having it.. You don't have to think about it, be it, live it and be thankful for it.. The pussy will come once you actually enjoy your own company. because i worry about time and all. i hear those people say that life is short live each day like its your last. also, i guess i believe i'm sinning against non-denomination, but want some fun. but the biggest problem i have is a overbearing mother who is the reason why i'm strapped. i make under $700/mo but let someone talk me into staying in a overcharged efficiency. i was paying $500, now i'm paying $550. here's the problem, in order to find myself i need that through support and self improvement, which is where working out comes in and improving my looks and also breaking free from my mother. also, i don't want to be looked at as the old guy. i'm 30, but in my mind i am 21. i have that mindset.
