So, I hung out with a girl a few times, and we talked on the phone around 5-6 times. All of our conversations are effortless, and we really seem to get along. She constantly tells me how awesome I am, and how I am basically her prince charming.

-Now, she says she doesn't think she is in the right place for a boyfriend. She said that she isn't ready to date.

Some details:

1. She seems to be constantly arguing with her mother
2. She is a senior in college, so she is getting ready for a transition year
3. She seems to be unhappy

Now, do you think she is being honest, or is she just trying to be nice and basically rejecting me.

If it's the former, how do I press the issue and get her to realize that dating me is right for her at this time?

I need some advice. I never can take hints that a girl isn't into me, but I genuinely felt she was into our dates. She tells me that I am awesome all the time. I really want this girl (and I know that's an awful approach as a PUA), but I don't really care.

I want to do what I can to get her...

Thanks

Just give her time. All three points about her mother, college, and unhappiness make perfect sense anyway. If she says she isn't in the right place for a boyfriend, then she's not. If you really want her, just give her the time and space she wants and see if she changes her mind. Be careful not to be her emotional pillow / tampon or you'll end up being the gay friend.

When a girl expresses apprehension about being with a guy, it typically means the guy hasn't made a good sale. Regardless of the circumstance (e.g., just recently having gotten out of a relationship, dealing with familial issues etc.) she will never pass up a guy who she considers is 'the one', or anything close to it.

Pursue other endeavors, if she comes to she comes to, if she doesn't at least you didn't waste all your time putting all your eggs in one basket. If you can hang out with her more, and then take a step or two back, but the most important part of it all is that you remain a positive force in her life and also bring her a sense of adventure/escape.
