The first time I read The Game I was ecstatic. Like most people, I thought that social skills and charm were something that you were born with (Like being tall or double-jointed), and when I realized that this is false, it was great. But latley I was thinking about it and I am became discouraged. Guys are forced to memorize openers, routines, and DHV stories. We work on our body language and dress in ridiculous clothing, that for some reason girls find attractive. Countless hours are spent, learning magic tricks, working on phone game, and reading books. What the fuck do females do in preparation? Put on makeup and a cute outfit? Then we go to a bar and fail one shit test or don't display enough social proof and they condescend us like were a peice of shit! Just once I would like to say, "Hey, you know that magic trick and that esp thing that fascinated you so much. It's all bullshit and there are hundreds of guys around the world doing the same thing to gullible bitches, just like you. And by the way your very uninteresting." Don't mean to complain so much. I just had to get that off my chest. Like you guys didn't know this already. |

hey mate your way too tied up on the game. you dont have to do all that shit, everyone tries it to begin with but you only become really good when you find your own style. just be natural be confident and most of all have fun. the game is a book of guidlines not rules. if your having fun your gona attract girls who want to have fun too. |

Werd, it seems like you are putting too much time in learning materials and not enough time enjoying social interaction. Openers - You don't have to memorize many. Its best to come up with your anyways, and situation openers are better than canned. Routines - Stick with one. I prefer the C&F routine, which doesn't take much practice and works for me. Something else might come natural to you, you just have to find out what that is and go with it. DHV stories - These should just be stories of your own life - not made up bullshit. In other words, these should come easy because they are part of YOUR life. Body language - You should be working on this for yourself more than anything. And its not hard, just become comfortable with your surroundings and yourself. Which leads into the next thing... Clothing - If you think you look funny, don't dress that way. Simple really... dress comfortably. Magic tricks - Not necessary. Good, but don't dwell on it. There are other ways to build attraction and comfort, decide which is easiest for you. All the rest are just learned along the way. It seems as though you may have had a bad night, so I can understand the rant. But don't let the game take over your life in such a negative way. |
