Post subject:  Music is WAY to loud in clubs

I feel like I'm alot better at Day game, then at Night game in clubs. In fact, I think I'm shit in clubs.

I went to this new club last night for a friends birthday, and the music was deafening! How the hell can I talk to girls if me and my friends have trouble talking?? Even in clubs where the music isn't as loud, I still find it fairly difficult, I talk loudly, but it seems unnatural.

I had to retort to going out to the smokers balcony to open up a couple of girls, where I'm more comfortable and I could hear myself think. Idunno, just in the clubs I feel like its more body language or something, I'm not that great of a dancer either haha.

Any tips?

You gotta get close, and I mean real close. Walk up to her (pause for a slight second, so she can see who you are) and say something (doesn't even matter b/c she won't be able to hear), then immediately lean in towards her ear, put your hand on her lower back or hip or hand, and speak into her ear. And, open. You pretty much have to do this to communicate anyways. You don't have to say much and there will be a lot things that you won't be able to hear. But just go with the flow. A lot of club game (with super loud music) has to do with body language and the "shock and awe" style game.

Learn to lip read. It's not hard, just listen as best as you can and watch their face, usually you can work out what their saying. I learnt this when I was catching up with an old pal I bumped into in a club, he said the only way he knew what I was saying was by watching my lips. Also if you talk in a slightly higher pitch voice it travels over the music and she can hear you better.

Aren't clubs more for dancing and physical escalation anyhow? Talk doesn't seem to mean much in there.

While what you guys say is definitely true, I am not making excuses as to why I can't do it, merely explaining to you why I'm having trouble. As you can see by my quote, I've told you that "I'm shit in clubs", I'm taking responsibility, as everyone should. I want to practice, practice and keep practising until I've got club game down pat. Here to learn :)

I'm interested about this 'shock and awe' game, I haven't heard of it before? I might do abit of searching around for some info.. I liked what you said earlier too LEF, thanks for the great tip!

Thanks Titan, I'll have to try and study lip reading up, should be a fun skill to have anyway.

Great reply.

Yeah, shock and awe is easily to google or search on here.

And yeah, clubs can be loud. But if you have solid conversation game, why not make the smoker's balcony your home base, so to speak. Open girls there, and try to get them down to the dance floor for easy escalation. Or open girls just inside, where the music's still loud, begin kino by getting close to hear them, then take them outside to talk better. You already found a solution here, use it to the fullest.

As far as straight dance floor game, there are many here who are better at it than I am. But it basically comes down to two things: 1. Working the crowd and 2. Working the target.

1. Crowds respond to fun, high energy, no-embarrassment dancing. This will get people noticing you and wanting to be friends with you. Also dancing with hot girls helps.

2. Targets respond to casual, completely unhesitant physical escalation. They can't hear what you're saying, but they can tell what kind of guy you are by how easily you touch them.

You need a new method, one which focuses on non-verbal and body language. (Gambler)
