I'm talking about the Charlie Sheen era not this Ashton Kutcher crap. I think his character had alot of good advice when it comes to PUA. For example his keen insights into the nature of the female mind. On the other hand, he had alot of bad advice too. For example: liquid confidence. Any thoughts? Did anybody actually watch that show? Besides me...? lol.

When this show first came out I was just learning about PUA, so I saw some of the stuff I was reading about in the show. It was kind of funny. So I started watching it religiously.

It really shows the difference between a natural PUA and a natural AFC.

Any thoughts?

He acts like a guy would who understands the female mind. He doesn't give a shit what they think. He knows they are playing him. He doesn't play along. He doesn't give anything to a woman to get her favor. He doesn't get attached (to most of them). He is not shaken when a woman gives him shit. He sees himself as the prize. He doesn't give up when most men would say fuck it and walk away.

I'm not saying he's Mystery, or Ross Jeffries, but for some crap Hollywood coughed up it's not a bad picture of a guy who gets women. In every other area he's a total pice of shit. But from what I've seen with naturals I know that's pretty much the same as real life.

I wouldn't say do what he does to pick up but if you look at him he is very relaxed, confident, doesn't get pushed about by his brother but is still helpful.

That's to me is a decent insight - he has the right attitude towards woman he never got caught up with one (ok he did but that's just the show), but note how he always asked to buy women drink at the bar. How many PUAs do you know that use that as an opener?

I avoid seeing it because of PUA.

It will steal 30 minutes of my life and leave me annoyed for the lack of humor, that time could be spent in field.

Common. Two and a half men is a good show.

Edit: Actually I just remembered that in one episode Ashton calls Allen "A Pickup Artist". :D

It's a funny show, but not inspirational. End fo the day, I avoid trying to find pickup advice on tv or in movies. Those actors are playing characters and their entire situation is scripted. Life's more complex than that.

On the other hand, Han Solo is a great source of inspiration for me. :)

If you want to watch a show for pick up inspiration, let it be Californication.

What I'd do to be Hank Moody. Having girls just throw themselves at you. ;)

Hank Moody for the win!

Again, it is a scripted show. In that case I would like to be Ron Jeremy, hes getting laid in all of his movies. See what Im getting at. Anyone in movies who has women throw themselves at him, it is not about any kind of game, it is about them being actors paid to throw themselves at the main character.

Yes. His body language and the way he acts and persist with princess Leia, it's just gold.

I didn't say anything about it being realistic, merely pointing out that he is someone to be inspired by. The way he carries himself, his confidence in approaching women, they way he conveys sexuality etc. If you look behind the Hollywood bullshit, there are some snippets of decent game.

I'm well aware that women don't just throw themselves at us gentlemen (well, not to that extent).

You can go ahead and be like Ron Jeremy all you want broheim, that's cool. :)

But hey, it's a fucking good show. :)
