hi guys I did this opener today. I was at school and was on my phone talking to someone and this girl was looking at me (probably because my hair looked messed up, I forgot to bring my hair gel to school...windy day...i looked like a homeless guy) so after i got off the phone I noticed she was sitting on a bench and I went up to her and said "hi. I noticed you were checking me out." she said "no" I said "ya you were. you were thinking this guy is so good looking, I want to get to know him" she said "no" then i ran out of things to say so i said "I am just joking" I THINK i had a serious face. dammit why cant i look like I am joking. anyway, my main question is, how do I continue this, when she says no? PS the answer is not "if you said it twice and she said no, then she is not interested." I am sure 99.9% of the time girls deny even if they really were checking someone out. |

I don't think that's a very good opener, because she can say no. A good opener shouldn't give only yes or no answers, but should raise a laugh, a smile, a comment, or another question. But let's say you do use it and the girl says no. In that case you could have said, "I know, I know, my hair is a total mess, right?" Is true that girls won't admit if they were checking you out, BUT, they will never back away from the obvious. Because they always want to be right. Hope this helps! |

really? that's an opener i stole from a pua on youtube. you know, the guy that has the weird hair? dont know his name. he said you go up to a girl and say this, even if her back is facing you and there is no way that she could be checking you out.

Don't sweat it man, at the end of the day there are some girls that will check you out and decide they aren't interested, and there is nothing you can do to change that. The best thing to take away from this situation is the fact that you had the balls to open the girl. If you tried it again with 10 more girls, chances are high one of them would say yes. Never give up because of one girl's opinion of you. |

no I am not sweating it. I dont care if she was or wasnt checking me out, that's irrelevant. of course she would say no and I knew this going in. but when she said no, I just ran out of things to say. I guess i wasnt prepared...so i said "i am just joking" and left. I cant stand there and argue whether or not she was checking me out because that would make me look like a moron. so how do I continue.

I've actually used that line before too and its gotten mixed results. after she says no, which they almost always do, i follow up with something like i thought id have the decency to come over here and introduce myself I'm Jbench or anyways I'm Jbench its not so smooth/pua but it gets the conversation rolling. just keep the confidence up, most girls can't believe you actually opened with that. |
