I have AA and i have the material and i have the looks but i just fear being rejected if i can get any info on overcoming this that would be great it is driving me off the deep end |

Stop caring and just have fun! http://sashapua.com/having-fun-the-long ... -gaming-2/ If you make your goal "having fun" instead of "opening sets" or "getting n-closes" then you succeed as soon as you make yourself, or anyone else, laugh or smile! Doing goofy shit, trying to use terrible "chat up lines," and generally doing things for your own self-amusement will get you out of your head and into that "don't-give-a-fuck" state that's not only awesome, but powerfully attractive. |

Inoculate yourself by 1) recognizing micro-avoidance (e.g. not asking if a seat is available at the next table, not saying "hi" to people for fear that they'll think you're a freak, not speaking up during a class lecture for fear of saying something dumb, etc.) - we all do it in every day life, albeit to varying degrees; and 2) inoculate yourself by doing the opposite of what that little limiting voice in your head tells you NOT to do before it gets louder and LOUDER thereby taking hold of you and depriving you of potentially enriching social interaction.You don't have to read a whole damned article about it, it's much easier than you think if you just step outside of yourself a bit. It's definitely within your capabilities of achieving. |
