this girl in my class came up to me and asked me if I could open this container/bottle of lotion or perfume or some shit. It was really tight but I managed to open it and when I gave it back she said in the most snotty tone ever, "oh, I must've helped loosen it for you." That fuckin bitch I didn't know what to say so I went "oh yeah, sure you did whatever." She didn't even say thank you so this was obviously a shit test and I guess because I opened it, I failed. ARGH!! I'm so mad. |

Lol I wouldn't even have thought that was a shit test! If I knew it was shit test: I would have opened it, after she said that I'd have rolled my eyes and turnt away as if to say 'nice try sweetheart, try harder'. But I usually say 'oh yeah whatever' when girls get a bit cocky like that playfully. And I probably would have done something like that in this situation, or just say something simliar.Dunno if it's right or not so I'm interested to hear what others have to say. Ahh just thought of something, "men don't like manly women *wink*". |

wtf dude! chill. girl: "can you open this bottle for me?" guess what, not everything a girl does is a shit test. guy:"sure thing." he opens the bottle girl: something sarcastic guy:"you are welcome" said with calmness and smile on his face. The reason you failed is because you attached excess meaning to this. And if this is kinda shit that gets you mad, mate, you really need to get a life. I'm not trying to say this in a bad manner. |

I think you've misunderstood, I wasn't necessarily mad at her. After all, she opened me; (less work I have to do) but I'm mad at MYSELF for not being able to turn things like this around and make it a happy ending. Maybe I SHOULDN'T have opened the bottle instead. Then I wouldn't be in this situation to begin with. |

I kind of agree with the concept of shit tests to an extent but I think that some people over analyse them way too much - not everything's a shit test. Heck, it sounds like this girl was trying to flirt if anything. I can't see that you needed a ultra witty comeback, just a smile and flirtatious gesture in return. Maybe a little tease. |

This wasnt a shittest bro. That "I probably loosened it up for you" is something of a running gag. I use it too you know. And they say it in Kung-Fu Panda. She needed help and you gave her help. Plus she is in your class so she knows who you are, no need to shit test you. |
