Post subject:  Do Female (Human) Attraction Switches Work Like Animals?

MM: "A male grouse (a type of bird) will be hard-pressed to attract a female if he is alone. Place a stuffed female grouse beside him and other females will soon enter his territory and mate with him."

This came to mind as I was wondering the extent of the attraction from this "pre-selection" switch. Is it an on/off switch, or is there a middle spectrum depending on the range of how explicit you demonstrate your pre-selection? Here's the story, I was on the dance floor gaming a few nights ago, and I was all social and everything making friends with all the guys and girls. So I started dancing with some HBs, and I started to wonder if this flipped the pre-selection switch. I was also decently peacocking, so that would draw more attention to me and the girl. My question is, were all the girls that saw me more attracted to me because of that? I already know they were from the social aspect, but what about dancing with HBs? Does that trigger pre-selection?

Any input welcome.
