I think that the girls who are friends of the ugly girls do not like you because you show poor preselection. It kinda turns into a vicious circle, ugly girls like you, they give bad preselection, so pretty girls do not like you, and then it starts all over because only ugly girls like you.

Well, I think you need to break that vicious circle, go to a bar and walk straight to the first group of people you see, dont be picky about it, then try talking to everybody in the venue. People will see you as social, cool guy, thats great, thats what YOU want. Eventually, with this alpha male attributes, the HB9 will give you the eye, and thats it bro, then you got the situation under control.
Also, NEVER let rejection change your self-image. Maybe you should read a little of inner game books, check them out. Cheers.

In my whole life I've only had 5 girls who've fancied me, and every single one of them was either horrifically ugly or disgustingly obese, or some combination of those two characteristics.

Why is this? Why do I (very rarely, mind) get some ugly girls liking me, but never any decent-looking girl who I could actually get with? Is it simply that I'm ugly, and unattractive girls go for equally unattractive guys? Or is it that these ugly girls never actually fancied me at all, they saw me as just-about-tolerable to look at, and only pretended to fancy me just because I talked to them and we were on friendly terms?

The truth is this, looks do matter. But not nearly as much as your outlook on life, and self worth. In addition, you can't change what you look like. (im not gonna go into plastic surgery) So I'm gonna assume you are the ugliest mofo the world has ever seen, because that's apparently how you see yourself. Now that we know how ugly you are, ask yourself this; Would you rather look as you do AND be a mopey and all around negative person, or do you want to accept how you are, and make the best of it? The choice is yours.

(I might add that they were all very insecure/unpopular/dorky as well). Yet no decent-looking girl ever considers me, even if she was a friend of one of the ugly/fat girls who liked me. It's as if any girl who looks even remotely decent is automatically incapable of fancying me, and if I ever hear that a girl fancies me, there's a 100% guarantee that she looks awful. Why is this? Why do I (very rarely, mind) get some ugly girls liking me, but never any decent-looking girl who I could actually get with? Is it simply that I'm ugly, and unattractive girls go for equally unattractive guys? Good idea, but this has happened in different social circles in different environments, so I don't know why it's only the ugly girls who seem to go for me. :S

Dude, you totally defeated the purpose of what lex was saying. You immediately found a reason why his advice (being confident and assertive with yourself; social) won't work. That's exactly why you're in your current situation. I know a lot of people have probably broken it down for you (perhaps a tad differently than what follows), but there's two ways to be in my book... 1) A nice guy and 2) A pussy. Women like nice guys. Women don't like pussies. Yeah there's the douchebags that get all the girls blah blah blah, but they will always get them for the same reason that nice guys get girls. They're confident, assertive and have no problem with being themselves. See the difference? Unattractive women will settle for dating/fucking a pussy because, well, the guys who aren't pussies are too busy attracting the women they WANT to fuck. These women have, more or less, no choice. They're in the same boat you are. Take lex's advice. Work on your inner game. If you need help, just ask. People running around this forum are more than willing to offer you good advice.

I used to think that no girls were interested in me, not even the fat or ugly ones. Eventually I realized that in reality, there are signs of many girls liking me, I had simply toned them out, or subconsciously ignored them. Now why would we ignore a positive sign? Well, you spend so much time convincing yourself of how worthless you are, so your mind goes along with this. You create a false reality where you are unattractive to everyone, that nobody likes you. If it helps, I use different accounts on here when I have trouble with different situations or with different girls. I never work on just one girl at a time, I usually have a main and a couple side projects. When I have issues with more than one, I try not to write a big thread and then post another big thread with the same name. But I could care less for the reputation points and what not, I rather get responses to my problems so I can improve my game. Cheers

This is the right answer and I refuse to read anyone else's strickly I'm lazy. Only fat and ugly girls tend to like you because the women on the lower end of the attraction scale need to be foward with men to actually get guys to notice them. They do not get approached at all and need to get ball rolling by making the moves. I know this from experience because that's how also what I use to believe. The more you believe that only ugly women like you, and pretty women don't, the more it will manifest itself. You need to stop worrying about this so much. Be grateful for the fact that these women are fancying you, regardless of their looks. If enough ugly women like you, sooner or later though probably be a pretty one in the mix. I would also get over your insecurity with ugly women. Have you tried having sex with a couple them? In a dark room, it's not that much different from having sex with a pretty one. Feel the erotic power of having sex with a woman who really likes you. You may really like this, and this may really affect your frame and inner game, which will affect the way other women perceive you. My guess is that you're probably treating pretty women differently from ugly women which is why only ugly women are liking you. But in reality everyone's the same, And you need to treat women the same.
